See the Light Reviews:

2009-09-19 - Totally enjoyed this CD - refreshing and was more Bo than canned music-by-corporation first album. Keep 'em commin'!
now THIS is The Real Thing....
2009-09-15 - THIS is the album we were looking for the first time around. Sooo glad he now has his own studio and production company so he can make the music he was born to sing. This is leagues better than his first album which was so obviously controlled by Clive Davis. Thanks Bo for Seeing the Light and giving your fans the sound and music that made us fall in love with you in the first place. Southern Rock.... ROCKS!!!!
Idol rocker Shows true voice
2009-06-18 - This is what I expected from Bo Bice on the Real Thing. Every song is amazing and I love listening to it over and over. I actually scratched it.. and got another copy so worth it.
Real Southern Rock...way better than "The Real Thing".
2009-02-28 - This is the Bo Bice album I was hoping for. I'm not real big into southern rock, but I do like some stuff like Alabama, etc. but this album is really good.
Bo doesn't get much publicity, but he deserves it. Heck, if you search Bo Bice: See The Light right here on Amazon, you get Constantine and other crappy "Idols" before you even get to see this album -- seriously, it's like the 6th one down. Rediculous.
Anyways, back to the album itself...
You can tell right away that he had full creative control on this album, unlike the B.S. obvious Pop album "The Real Thing". Some of those big studio producers don't know how to just let someone make good music and they screwed up the first album...this one, however, is GREAT!
If this is The Real Bo, then I don't want no Mo' !! This is pure Country
2008-06-07 - I really got behind him on A.I. Because he "seemed" like the first "rocker" to find some success there. And His first album had a couple of Great sounding songs, reminiscent of some recent Def Leppard rifts. So I was really looking forward to his new album hoping he would go more in that direction of Popular Rock. After I heard Witness, I thought he was going the right direction. But I was So sorely Disappointed to find that not only was the Album ONLY AVAILABLE AT WALMART?? (figure that out??) But even worse, It wasn't even Southern Rock...I popped it in that car and thought "Crap! Except Witness, I just bought a Country/Honky Tonk album with a bunch of drinking songs!" Bummer.
If you are NOT into a bunch of Slide Guitar, just download Witness and leave the rest of this album.
