Little Black Songbook: Bob Dylan Reviews:
Quick access to classic lyrics and great songs 4 Star Review
2009-11-30 - This book and particular this series is very useful for those who want to whip open and start up a classic Bob Dylan song on a dime. It's small but text size is adequate, the binding can be manipulated to lay flat, there is a chord index for more obscure chord voicings and great notes for capo & key. No, it is not exhaustive, but its a fun tool that gives me, and any potentially memory challenged, a way to sing.

Perfect! 5 Star Review
2009-01-19 - I'm a huge Dylan fan and probably have a dozen Bob Dylan songbooks. This one is special because of the size, design and price. Obviously, Bob has written over 600 songs and they're not all here. If they were, this wouldn't be a 'little' book. I got this book for Christmas and use it often and I would say that it's been a popular item. Everyone who walks into my house either thumbs through it or asks to borrow it. A bargain.

Solid and convenient 4 Star Review
2007-02-20 - If you're looking to play some popular Dylan songs, this is the book for you.

Pros:
- It's small (which can be good or bad) and portable.
- Best of all, though, is how the songs are designed. For beginning and intermediate guitar players, it's really nice have each chord change right above the lyrics. This gives you a good feel about when to change while singing.

Cons:
- It's probably not worth full price. $[...] seems a little pricey. However, just don't pay full price. Either buy it on [...] or use some sort of bookstore discount.
- The print is pretty small. However, it is a "little" black book so you'd have to expect that.
- No chord charts above each song. Only one big fold out chart at the end of the book.
