Editorial Review:
Travel back to the golden era of pure entertainment when radio greats captured the hearts and imagination of millions of listeners. Find the priceless humor of comedy giants like Bob Hope, Jack Benny, Laurel & Hardy and Abbott & Costello, to legendary entertainers like Frank Sinatra, Dinah Shore, Bing Crosby and Martin & Lewis. Thrill to classic suspense in shows like Perry Mason, The Shadow, Dick Tracy and Ellery Queen, and cheer for the heroes of yesteryear like Flash Gordon, Superman, Tarzan of the Apes and The Lone Ranger...

The Best of Old Time Radio Reviews:
Beats television any day of the week! 5 Star Review
2007-12-06 - I bought this set on a whim several months ago. Haven't regretted it for a second! I didn't know what I was missing until I started listening to these CD's. Unlike TV, this requires you to use your imagination. Trying to visualize what is transpiring and what the characters look like is more fun that I could have imagined. Beats today's in-your-face TV by a country mile. Now I understand why radio was so popular in its' day, and remained so for many years after television hit the scene. You will most likely find yourself listening to these CD's over and over again. I certainly do. They'll transport you to another time & place.

Great Stuff 5 Star Review
2007-05-13 - This is when radio really was the theater of the mind. Ahhhh, the good old days. If you work in radio you should have this box set...
