Bobby Reviews:
Bobby Brown 5 Star Review
2009-12-03 - Has some great songs on it. If you are a slow jam person, you would like it!

Bobby CD 5 Star Review
2009-05-01 - I used to have this CD until my 28 yr old son, babysitting our dog and cat while we were on vacation, lost it. I tried to find it in the house for 3 years to no avail. I was sooo glad that Amazon had it on hand at a really great price! The seller was quick to send it as well. Amazon ROCKS !

see what crack cocaine does to you kiddies 1 Star Review
2006-03-06 - bobby brown used to be a big star but somewhere he became addicted to crack cocaine and these are the results every song on this cd is bad we all know bobby can't do it anymore.

"Bobby" is phenomenal 4 Star Review
2005-12-12 - In this age where r&b is so souless, its good to know there are recollections and memories of good production in the genre. My mom bought "Bobby" in the fall of 1992 and we wore the cassette out in our new 1992 Toyota Tercel.
"Bobby" is the at the zenith of the "new jack swing" era led by its pioneer Babyface. With songs like 'Humpin Around' 'Good Enough' and 'Get Away', the album posseses an aura of talent backed up with musicianship that is superb.Bobby Brown struck a chord on this one personally. The songs are catchy and memorable.I highly recommend this record.

Good but lacks the funk of Don't Be Cruel 3 Star Review
2005-07-10 - Bobby Brown's third album Bobby came out 4 years after Don't Be Cruel. But a lot can happen in 4 years. While Bobby has strong numbers in Humpin' Around (ultra funky), Get Away and the funkier That's The Way Love Is, the album lacks the pizazz of Don't Be Cruel. The writing is not as strong here and the music runs out of energy by the album's second half. Good Enough is okay, but where's the punch that Bobby once had? The strong machine of hits by Bobby had kind of fizzled by this album. It has not had the memorable shelf life as Cruel has always had. Plus this was one of the first albums where Bobby started producing and writing his songs, yet they don't grab you like LA, Babyface and Teddy Riley's. So Bobby felt 4 years behind instead of 4 years ahead with outdated new jack swing grooves.
