Editorial Review:
Excellent 15 track live album pulled from vocalist Annabel Lwin's personal archives. Recorded in Japan at the peak of the new wave act's popularity, it features most of their hits, including 'I Want Candy', 'Cowboy', 'See Jungle!', 'GoWild In The Country', 'Louis Quatorze' & 'C30, C60, C90 Go!'. 1997 release on Receiver/ Trojan.
Live in Japan Reviews:
Thank goodness we have a 'listen' button. It ain't poorly recorded.
2006-01-12 - I haven't purchased this record but I listened to samples with the 'listen' button and it sounds fine as a live recording. I've heard many bootleg quality live shows and this ain't one of 'em. I'm not sure the enthusiaism of the performance is what I'd hoped for tho. Nice, functional, steady, but not a record I need from them this moment.
They were very exciting and dynamic and super dancable (and i don't generally dance but we couldn't help ourselves, delightful) back in 1984. My memory of that show is better than this one. Though I wouldn't kick this one out. Very fun band. chrisbct@hotmail.com
Poor bootleg quality sound
1999-09-30 - I absolutely love Bow Wow Wow but this album is a tremenodous dissappointment. It is a wonderful concert and performance but it is the sound that is a problem. It is very poor, sounds like a bad bootleg recording.
