A Hangover You Don't Deserve Reviews:
Their Best Album!
2009-10-03 - This is my favorite and in my opinion the best album from my hometown band BFS. That ridiculous and pretentious review about how BFS is a ripoff of Fountains of Wayne and the attitude that serious music lovers listen to so-and-so and if you're a true music lover stay away from Bowling for Soup was, well, extremely ridiculous and pretentious in my opinion. I'm a serious musician (not sure what that means really) but I also put no boundaries on the music I listen to. I can talk all day about how mathematically wicked and intricate Metallica's ...And Justice for All is and I can talk at least a half hour about how I get choked up listening to The Climb from Miley Cyrus. Yeah, I went there. All I know is that when I listen to Bowling for Soup I feel happy, awesome, proud to be a Texan and encouraged to write music that would affect others like listening to them affects me. If you like bands like Blink 182, Sum 41, New Found Glory and Motley Crue then there's a greater than average chance you'll like Bowling for Soup. But if you spend your time trying to find music that doesn't sound like anything popular while using the phrases "sold out" and "ripoff" at least once a day then maybe BFS isn't for you. Hell, maybe standard instruments aren't for you either. Let's start a band with a Slap-Chop and some office supplies and we can be emo and call everyone else conformists. Don't tell anyone about that Miley Cyrus thing. This is anonymous right?
Funny Music
2009-05-24 - This band is hilarious and their music is well done. They are a tight band and obviously have no problems with making fun of themselves. Don't believe they ever made it main stream or had a big hit, but many of their songs are excellent and remain on my play list.
Fun album, better than their last
2009-01-15 - I really enjoyed this album. The music is fun and lighthearted, and the lyrics are almost comical without being cheesy. If you've liked any of their singles, you'll probably love this album.
awesome
2008-09-05 - I love this band the songs are so catchy and thier lyrics are funny. its almost like these songs were written for my ex girlfriends lol. if like punk rock like blink 182 or greenday you'll love these guys they are even better.
Good enough to buy again!
2007-04-16 - I bought this CD when it first came out. Due to heavy usage between my truck and my wife's car, it finally became unplayable. I had to replace it, so thanks to Amazon I got a pretty good price. The shipping price was great, but it did take a little longer than I would have liked.
