Genre: Feature Film-Drama Rating: UN Release Date: 23-OCT-2007 Media Type: DVD Cutting Class (Unrated Version) Reviews: What's wrong Brad Pitt? 2008-12-03 - I heard Pitt tried to buy every copy of this film because he was ashamed of this film. I didn not really find anything wrong with this movie at all. The acting was very good for a B film and it probably would have been better if they upped the gore a little. The main problem was the kills in this movie were the worst in the history of horror films. Ive seen tons and tons of horror movies and I cant recall the kills being as bad as this film. Other then the kills, it was enjoyable and worth a look. I found it a brand new copy at a discount store for two bucks, so I got my moneys worth.
Cutting Class 2008-09-23 - No wonder I've never heard of this movie, til I was surfing Brad Pitt...it certainly is "B" flick movie, and thank gosh his acting got better as he got older!! I am a big Brad Pitt fan, and he is definetly very young and cute in this movie, which is the only thing it has going for it!! I wish I would have rented this movie before buying it! I would not recommend this movie unless you are a serious Brad Pitt fan, and want it in your collection.
KINDA CORNY BUT GOOD EARLY PITT FLICK 2007-11-20 - A kind of corny high school flick with a strange set of twists and turns, but if you like Brad Pitt movies, you will adore this one. He is really great, even that young.
Horrible 2007-11-13 - I watched this movie because I was curious to see one of Brad Pitt's earliest roles and I like horror movies, especially those from the 80s. Well, Pitt was in it and it was a horror movie, but I can't say anything good about this movie. It was not funny, the acting was very bad, and it was not scary in the slightest bit. And the dialogue? Now there's something scary. Whether viewed as a "serious" slasher flick or a parody (parodies are supposed to be funny), it just plain sucked.
I can't understand this movie getting positive reviews, unless it's due to Brad Pitt being in it. If you're not interested in seeing his early work, stay away. You have been warned.
Tongue Firmly Planted In Cheek......Then.....Chopped Off!!! 2007-10-23 - Slasher film from the Eighties...with humor as a side dish. Delightfully conceived and ardently executed (along with several students)...you will find yourself slyly amused and asking if Brad Pitt could ever have been that young and in need of acting lessons! The real stars of the movie carry it well with Martin Mull and Roddy McDowall taking kudos for scene stealing. This movie had it's own self-deprecating humor woven in and I for one think it is a perfect sendup of the genre and a clever beginning for Brad's career. That is...for those of you who remember who he was before he became the male side of Brangelina.
