Lucky Reviews:
Great single! 4 Star Review
2005-12-02 - Although it definitely isn't the best single from Oops I Did it Again (That's absolutely gotta go to 'Stronger'), Lucky is a great song it's very catchy and has sweet lyrics. I'm really surprised at how many people here are complaining about the video....the video was beautiful, it's just a little different because she isn't skanking out like usual....I think it's possibly one of her best videos because it's classy and elegant!!! Go get the Lucky single if you like Britney Spears!

Lucky - a superb hit from Britney's amazing career! 5 Star Review
2002-12-15 - In August 2000 Britney Spears released Lucky, the follow up to her smash hit UK No.1 Oops!...I Did It Again. Britney was undoubtedly at the peak of her career at this moment in time - her second album Oops!...I Did It Again was riding high around the world and had already sold 10 million copies in 2 months! A few more singles from the album boosted its total sales up to a lofty 21 million.

I personally think Lucky was a brave choice for a single, considering there were so many other brilliant songs on the Oops!...I Did It Again album (What U See Is What U Get and Don't Go Knockin' On My Door spring to mind). The single that followed Lucky was Stronger, so I would've released Stronger first, then Lucky. Anyway, no point in moaning - can't change the past! The song Lucky is about a female film star who seemingly has it all - the looks, the fame, the money, the love etc., but deep down she's not happy. "If there's nothing missing in my life, then why do these tears come at night?" she sings towards the end of the chorus. Many people began to wonder if this song was a personal reference to Britney's life. I think the verses are rather good on Lucky, but the bit that annoys me so much is the part in the middle where the man goes, "And the winner is....Lucky!" It's so corny and in a way, a much more dire follow up to Britney's reference to the Titanic in Oops!...I Did It Again. The video to Lucky was a good one, but definitely not her best - probably the worst from all the videos to the songs from the Oops!...I Did It Again album. You may be thinking why the hell did I give this song a 5-star review (for a change!), but the answer to that is because of tracks 2 and 3. Track 2 is called Heart and is a superb ballad that is almost better than Lucky itself. Track 3 is Lucky (Jack D. Elliot Radio Mix) and is another brilliant track. This is a very catchy remix of Lucky which suits the song very well. It's not one of those remixes that goes on for hours. Infact, it's only 2 seconds longer that the actual song Lucky - which stands at 3:24 itself. The presentation of this CD single is also superb. The actual disc is green and yellow, while the cover has a great picture of Britney in a white tube top - definitely one of Britney's best single covers along with Born To Make You Happy, I'm A Slave 4 U and Boys. If you're looking for a superb Britney song with some excellent extra tracks, Lucky is the song for you! Buy it now from Amazon.com!

One of my favorites!!! 5 Star Review
2001-03-02 - "Lucky" talks about a girl that is so popular in the day but isn't at all happy in the night! Because she misses be a normal person! I pretty sure many people can relate to this song! "Lucky" is another great song that could of had a little better video...but it was still good! This song was really performed well in her concerts! This song is Brintey's "sound." Cd is worth the money! Will bring happiness for years to come!!!

Worth Every Cent! 5 Star Review
2000-10-14 - Britney's best song from Ooops!.. I Did It Again is "Lucky" and I consider myself lucky to own this great single, but in reality, it's not alone. It comes along with the excellent love song "Heart" and a remix of "Lucky" Don't wait on this one. It's very possible Britney's best song ever!

We're so Lucky to have it! 5 Star Review
2000-09-25 - Lucky is such a cool song. You can sing along, or just listen. It's perfect for party music, or any kind of fun get together. Whether you're on the road or just at home, it's perfect. We're so Lucky to have it!
