Oops!...I Did It Again Reviews:
Oops!...I Did It Again - a trademark pop hit from Britney! 5 Star Review
2002-12-08 - In the first half of the year 2000, Britney Spears was at the height of her worldwide popularity. Her debut album had sold 22 million copies worldwide and her four singles had sold a combined total of 18 million copies. She was an international sex-symbol and already an iconic superstar - all by the age of 18. In May 2000, she released her highly anticpated second album Oops!...I Did It Again. It was easily the most hyped record of 2000 and sold a record-breaking 1.3 million copies in its first week of sale in the US. It went on to sell more than 10 million copies in the US alone - her second consecutive record to reach diamond status in America. Worldwide sales of the album peaked at 21 million and spawned four huge worldwide No.1 singles. One of these was Oops!...I Did it Again.

The single Oops!...I Did It Again was released in May 2000 - two weeks before the album. It went straight to No.1 in the UK, earning Britney her third UK No.1 single following on from Baby One More Time (February 1999) and Born To Make You Happy (January 2000). Her fans loved it and many compared it to her debut single Baby One More Time. Indeed, the beat is similar to that of Baby One More Time, but the whole concept and idea of the song is entirely different. Where Baby One More Time portrayed an upset girl grieving over losing her boyfriend, Oops!...I Did It Again showed Britney at her most cheeky. "I'm not that innocent!" she wails, and she isn't - if only on this song. There's something about the attitude of song that reflects how the public saw Britney - an innocent girl, but sexy and controversial at the same time. Her reference to the movie Titanic half way through the song was bound to please her younger fans. "But I thought the old lady dropped it in the ocean in the end!?" she says to the man who she has no trouble in seducing. The video to the song was her most elaborate to date. Baby One More Time was shocking, Sometimes was sweet, (You Drive Me) Crazy was raw and sexy, and Born To Make You Happy was emotional. The video to this song in question, however, was epic - the sets were huge, the costumes were elaborate and the choreography was complicated. Britney played the Queen on the planet Mars. While on a space visit, the object of her affection is seduced by Britney and her "charming" ways. Britney also wears a red leather catsuit - probably one of Britney's most famous video outfits after Baby One More Time's school-girl look. This CD single also includes a Bonus Track in the form of Deep In My Heart - a track taken from the European version of Britney's debut album Baby One More Time. Also included is From The Bottom Of My Broken Heart (Ospina's Millennium Funk Mix), which is just a more up-tempo version of the ballad also from the Baby One More Time album. All in all, this is an absolutely essential CD for Britney fans everywhere - buy it now from Amazon[.com]!

Oops! She Did It Again! 5 Star Review
2000-06-12 - This single is great for any Britney fan! It includes the song "Oops!...I Did It Again", an Instrumental version of the song, a remix of "From The Bottom Of My Broken Heart", and a non-American track, "Deep In My Heart". My favorite song is the instrumental version of "Oops". If you arn't really a huge fan of Britney, then you might want to just buy the album but if you are a fan, this single is for you. Also the cover is worth the money alone! :-)

GOOD REMIX & BONUS TRACK 5 Star Review
2000-06-11 - I absolutely love Oops I Did It Again, very catchy hook. I really don't think the instrumental version of Oops I Did It Again really serves any purpose, unless you like to sing. The remix of From The Bottom Of My Broken Heart is an upbeat version, a very good remix. I think it's really good for people who like love songs a bit more happier and faster passed. Deep In My Heart is one of the best bonus tracks I ever heard. It's a love song that's also upbeat and puts you in a good mood. All songs are excellent and I really recommend this cd.
