True Britt Reviews: BRITT SHOWS GRIT 2009-12-12 - I FOUND THIS BOOK TO BE BETTER THAN I THOUGHT. BRITT DOES A NICE JOB TELLING US HER LIFE STORY. SHE DABS A BIT IN HER YOUNGER DAYS AND A LITTLE MORE ABOUT HER MOVIE CAREER. THE MEAT OF THIS BOOK IS HER RELATIONSHIPS WITH MANY AND VERY KNOWN MEN. SHE WAS MARRIED TO PETER SELLERS AND MANY AFFAIRS WITH THE LIKES OF GEORGE HAMILTON, WARREN BEATTY AND ROD STEWART. BRITT IS NOT A PRUDE AND DOES SHARE A BIT OF HER SEX LIFE BUT NOT TO A DETAILED DEGREE. I REALLY THOUGHT SHE WAS TOTALLY HOT IN MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN AND LATER SHE SHOWED PROMISE AS A SERIOUS ACTRESS. IF YOU ARE FAMILIAR WITH BRITT I SUGGEST THIS AS AN EASY AND ENTERTAINING READ FROM ONE OF SEXY ACTRESSES OF THE 1960'S AND 70'S.
A Brilliant Yet Underrated Actress 2007-11-09 - Britt is more famous obviously for the men in her life than her acting career. This book, which I read many years ago, tells it all well. But recently I saw her on stage in the lead role in a show. I was absolutely blown away by how good she was. She's clearly a lady who never got the breaks to match her talent. Perhaps she's making up for it now.
