Five-time Emmy nominee and Golden Globe winner Henry Winkler stars in The Most Wonderful Time of the Year, the story of what happens when you open your heart to the power of Christmas. Disenchanted single mom Jennifer Cullen (Brooke Burns) is a Scroogette when it comes to anything Christmas. In fact, even her six-year-old son, Brian, is having trouble believing in Santa Claus. But when her Uncle Ralph (Henry Winkler) visits and brings a fellow passenger from his flight named Morgan Derby (Warren Christie), Jennifer s dubious heart awakens to the possibility that perhaps Christmas really does hold miracles. It s uplifting and laugh-packed and a story that will inspire the whole family to believe.

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year Reviews:
    WONDERFUL!! 5 Star Review
2009-12-16 - This movie is just wonderful! I loved it. It is funny, touching and meaningful. Of course, Henry Winkler makes this movie. He does a spectacular (and hilarious) acting job here. And Warren Christie is just a living doll, both in his looks and personality ;)and plays the part perfectly! I happen to have seen it on the Hallmark channel, and immediately had to purchase the DVD for my collection. I will definitely watch this movie again many times throughout the year. You will totally enjoy it; there was not one moment or scene I would have changed!

Hallmark + Winkler, and a Happy Christmas Story 5 Star Review
2009-12-11 - A quality Christmas Hallmark story with a delightful and talented cast. This sets the tone for YOUR pleasant holiday. We'll show it to the WHOLE family when they are gathered. It will warm anyone's Christmas. Predictable in that it HAS to end happily because it's Christmas, and it's Hallmark, but then why not? Christmas is a celebration of new life, so enjoy.

No rating found, but I'd guess a 'G' would be close as there is no bad language, bare shoulders and back is about as much skin as you'll see, drugs are confined to whatever was used while cooking turkey, and although there is some action fights and stunts, they are all intended for laughs (no blood, and everybody is unharmed).

Henry Winkler, The Fonz (Happy Days), plays Uncle Ralph, a retired cop coming for Christmas at the home of Jen (Brooke Burns) and her son, Brian (Conner Levins). Winkler is now a senior citizen but retains his Fonz attitude and it works well in this movie. Fonz fans will love Winkler in this "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year." He will always be award-level-good while playing that type of character. Brooke Burns is beautiful, and a good actress, with a broad smile equaling that of Sandra Bullock, and in this film also with the hair of Bullock as she appears a blond mom in the blockbuster, "Blind Side". See my 5-star review on Blind Side [Theatrical release].

Uncle Ralph gets air flight help from fellow traveler Morgan (Warren Christie) who gets snowed in and can't get to Denver. Of course he's allowed to stay at Jen's home. Of course he does all the right things at the right time. Of course everyone lives happily ever after for this Christmas Day. That's the underlying theme of this film. Be happy, enjoy Christmas, live and love. And YOU will feel better for watching it.

My wife and I are SUPER glad we bought it and watched it two days in a row after it arrived. This is one for the Christmas DVD box which is pulled from storage each year and watched with family and friends--EVERY YEAR. Thanks again Hallmark.

Love the movie! 4 Star Review
2009-12-08 - I, like another reviewer stated, had TiVo'd this movie last year. I watched it all the time I loved it so much. Then our TiVo died on us and I lost the movie. I was excited to find the movie on the Hallmark channel and get it back again this year...I just don't like fast forwarding thru all the commercials. When I saw this movie for sale here at Amazon, I immediately bought it. And now I'm disappointed. The ratio sseems to be for the old "square" t.v.'s, not for a wide screen. I only have this small box on my screen when the movie plays. The color is another thing that is simply off. It's all washed out in the dvd version. I don't know if it's because we have a blu-ray player and not a regular dvd player or what. I only know I'm not as happy as I should be.

The "Fonz" is getting better 4 Star Review
2009-12-08 - Very good Christmas story, a bit far fetched in parts (bringing home a complete stranger) but definitely for romantics.

Bought this one...one of my "HAPPY MOVIES" when I am in a down mood. Real enough for me to buy a copy for my Christmas Favorites.

Agree with your first rating...well written!

Very Good movie to watch 5 Star Review
2009-12-01 - Any one like A Boyfriend for Christmas will
like this movie. It is a lot like it.
    Very good movie.
