Unhinged Don Gronquist directs this slasher flick starring Laurel Munson which was once banned in the U.K. and part of the Video Nasties banned movies list. Three girls get into an accident and total their car while driving to a concert in a rainstorm. They are conveniently stranded in the middle of nowhere near a creepy Victorian mansion the home of the sexually repressed psychotic Mrs. Penrose. The girls learn that the demented woman and her evil family hold a dark secret. Soon a killer is hacking up people one by one. Special features include: Talk show interview with the filmmakers Comedy narration by "The Detractors" (Brian Vandiver Shannon Wheeler Kim Morgan Mike Prosser and David Walker) Harvesters TheA small-time gang of misfits led by lesbian Gulf War veteran Frankie Falzone (Donna Sherman) are on the run after a botched raid on a liquor store where they killed a clerk. When their car conks out they carjack a young woman and force her to take them to her family's home. Here the real horror begins - two evils clash in a life-and-death struggle for survival. While wandering through Europe in grief a car accident leads him to a small town sitting literally in the shadow of Dracula's castle. Steven is stunned to discover Carla the innkeeper's daughter a mirror image of his dead girlfriend. She begs for his help against the vampire and he agrees. He and Dr. Van Helsing attack using a variety of ingenious weapons but Dracula shows unusual powers that defeat them at every turn

DIE HARD DRACULA-- A modern twist on the Dracula story. An American wandering through Europe happens upon Dracula's castle, where he sees a woman that looks exactly like his recently deceased girlfriend. Three different actors portray Count D.
GIRLS NIGHT OUT-- Terror trio introduced by "The Professor" include "Girls Night Out," "The Creep" and "Blood Moon Rising."
THE HARVESTERS-- Although this one isn't as described on the box, it's actually more popular with poll respondents at imdb.com than the "gang of misfits and their lesbian leader" horror film you were expecting. This "Harvesters" is a thriller about a heart transplant recipient who later goes in search of the donor's parents. She discovers the dead boy's mom knows nothing about the donation and her further investigations lead to big trouble.
UNHINGED-- Temporarily banned in Britain gorefest. Three college girls crash their car in a remote area during a rainstorm and spend the night with an oddball family at a creepy old mansion. Has a surprise ending.

Great Cheesy Horror! 
2005-04-27 - I was about to buy the DVD for UNHINGED (Banned in Britain! OOH!) when I saw that it was on here for the same price with three others. Now that's a bargain. UNHINGED was great, and I'm loving CREEPY TALES: GIRLS NIGHT OUT. DIE HARD DRACULA I still haven't finished, but it looks like cheesy fun.
But the 4th film? THE HARVESTERS? From the description on the back, I was really excited about that one...but as a previous reviewer stated, the movie on the disc doesn't match up to what is described on the box. The movie on here isn't bad per se, but isn't really a horror movie and doesn't fit in with the other flicks on here. I wish I knew who to complain to about that...
But other than that problem, the other movies on here are well worth the cost. You would spend as much, if not more, renting them each individually.
the brentwood trick 
2005-02-15 - I purchased this dvd package of four classic horror movie sadly all i got was three. Yes thats right unhinged,die hard dracula and girls night out well there is suppose to be a forth called harvesters side b of dics one its not harvesters i dont know what it is.So brentwood trick me on this one.But the unknown movie is not worth watching so if you buy the package at least three out of four is not bad i guess.
