Live & Loud 2009 Reviews:
BUCKCHERRY LIVE 5 Star Review
2009-12-01 - very good live cd from this band. seen them live and had to buy this.the only negative about this is that this was recorded on CRUEFEST and they had not recorded their version of HIGHWAY STAR yet.

Love It 5 Star Review
2009-11-03 - I've heard a few Live Buckcherry recordings over the years, from bonus tracks on imports, the Bitches and Money Cd, etc...and have seen them Live on the Time Bomb tour, and this is a nice introduction for them as far as their first Live CD of official release.

Nice representation of their work up to this point, the songs I have listened to very loud so far and haven't really got into dissecting it so much, with Buckcherry it's more of a hard rock party thing when you first get a new CD, just to enjoy the traditional sleazy rock and roll at a hard rocking frenzy and anything goes reckless abandon.

I find it difficult to complain about much other than a few favs are missing here that I wished would have been recorded Live, but "Lawless and LuLu" has always been a fave, and there's a new fave in "Rose". Would have preferred Underneath, Slit My Wrists, and perhaps Imminent Bailout be here also, but it's just their first Live CD; so it's good enough as it is, they can't play everything right?

Not really sure about the technical issues, maybe i"ll edit in some later, but man it's so great to have a Live recording that doesn't cost an extra 15-20 dollars or whatever and to have a decent representation of their work. This is a band that I generally get everything they do and fret over missing an import that might only have one song for double the price of a regular CD...but some bands come along ever so often that merit such a delimna ...and Buckcherry just happen to be one of those bands. To me them , Backyard Babies and The Wildhearts are keeping hard rock alive..not the current slew of hard rock heard on the radio, Buckcherry get's some airplay, but are pretty much an album band, their album cuts are just as strong and many times to me better than the singles. A greatest hits or Live would have to include about everything by them, there's probably only 2 or 3 songs I don't like by them overall...and thankfully those aren't here. Buckcherry has always been a sleazy, fun, hard rocking band that has it's influences in perhaps traditonal type bluesy rock that borders on going off the tracks, but have maintaned to me enough integrity and not gotten too cheesy as to sound dated, they are a throwback, but keep it fresh and keep the guitar driven rock alive for those of us who like anthems, solo's, and a total disregard for offending anyone in it's path of it's themes. They are unapologetic hard rock that was needed when they started, and surprise ....it is sitll needed now.

Times are tough, and what better reason than to crank up some Buckcherry and forget all your troubles for good ol fashioned sleazy, borderine on out of control fun.

If you like Buckcherry... 5 Star Review
2009-11-03 - If you like Buckcherry you will be happy with this live CD. Really, you are gonna smile when you put this CD in your player and crank it up. Its everything a Buckcherry fan would expect. Its loud, its live and it ROCKS! Some older songs and some new music. I like when bands do live CDs, they put a different twist on songs and there is that raw anything can happen feel. I wish this Live & Loud CD was a double CD, and I wish bands made live CDs every tour/studio CD (that's just me, I guess that's what bootlegs are for). I've seen Buckcherry live before and will be seeing them again in Oakland CA. in a few weeks. They put their live show on CD and it sounds good. Where is the Live & Loud DVD?

Buckcherry Live and Loud 5 Star Review
2009-10-27 - I went and saw Buckcherry live at the o2 academy Newcastle (UK) this album sent me straight back there. Its a raw sound like you find on either Buckcherry or Time bomb. Not the sopisticated sound you find on either 15 or Black Butterfly. But as a Live album it works very well. My only regret with the album is that Highway star (which was sung on the night) was left off the album. Having already bought Black Butterfly before it had Highway star added I would have liked to have found it on this album. All that aside the album is great, a real live band doing what they do best. 10 out of 10.

Buckcherry Rules! 5 Star Review
2009-10-22 - awesome live CD...the power of the band lacks from the first 2 albums of 1999 and 2000.
