Editorial Review:
From The Jim Henson Company, creator of The Dark Crystal and Labyrinth and bestselling author Neil Gaiman (American Gods, Neverwhere, Sandman) comes Mirrormask, a breathtaking fantasy/adventure motion picture event unlike any other. Composer Iain Ballamy evokes the otherworldly beauty of this fantastic adventure with a rich, emotional score that bursts with melody and complex themes.
Mirrormask Reviews:
great cd
2009-06-02 - Mirrormask is such a trippy movie it's easy to forget it was supported with great music. You'll be surprised how many tracks blended into the background and how vividly you recall the ones that didn't. My favorite? Close to You, proving how even easy listening can be very wrong and creepy without giving up being smooth and pretty.
Great soundtrack for a great film
2009-01-25 - Music can really make a movie and the soundtrack to this movie really adds to the overall feel. Great atmospheric music.
Eclectic delight
2008-09-12 - With the eclectic tastes of music from the movie, this is a great way to relive the energy and imagination thereof.
MirrorMask = Awesome
2008-05-29 - This definitely has some unique music, but if you've seen the movie then I think you could appreciate where its coming from. I personally fell in love with the music when I watched the movie, but its really for you to decide of course.
ODD
2008-01-12 - I loved the movie! The CD, Hmmmmmmmmmm, still trying to get it to grow on me. "Close to You" and the last song are awesome.
