Eaten Back to Life Reviews:
The Debut!
2008-11-18 - The dubut Cannibal Corpse album is one for the ages. Awesome riffs, great detah metal lyrics and just awesome layout. If you hate this band or think they are grotesque or sick you should't be looking at bands Called Cannibal Corpse. Just by the band name and song titles alone you should know this isn't "raffy".
love this album
2008-09-26 - cannibal corpse always keeps things grotesque should death metal be anything else ? enjoy this masterpiece
One of their best.
2008-04-22 - This is death metal at it's finest. Don't buy this expecting songs about bunnies and sunshine, though. It's all purely about gore. We really don't need another "OMG DEATH METAL IS RETARDED" review.
I recommend it. But as I said before, with a cover like that and a name like Cannibal Corpse, don't expect songs about bunnies and sunshine.
MY EARS ARE BLEEDING PLZ FIX BY EATING THEM BACK TO LIFE
2008-01-13 - Do not buy this cd. If you do, you are only encouraging this band to continue recording more of this garbage.
Here is a sample of their music:
POWER CHORD POWER CHORD POWER CHORD POWER CHORD POWER CHORD POWER CHORD POWER CHORD POWER CHORD POWER CHORD POWER CHORD POWER CHORD POWER CHORD POWER CHORD POWER CHORD POWER CHORD POWER CHORD POWER CHORD POWER CHORD POWER CHORD POWER CHORD POWER CHORD POWER CHORD POWER CHORD POWER CHORD POWER CHORD POWER CHORD POWER CHORD POWER CHORD POWER CHORD POWER CHORD POWER CHORD POWER CHORD POWER CHORD POWER CHORD POWER CHORD POWER CHORD
Yeah their songs sound the same and they are boring and retarded. I couldn't stop laughing when I heard them the first time.
And eaten back to life? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA
(4.5) Great start for these sick S.O.B's
2007-12-23 - When I first got this album I was turned off and let it collect dust in my closet (along with a bunch of other Metal albums that I didn't like). A few months later I found myself headbanging and running around my room to the old-school Death Metal sounds of Cannibal Corpse. Not that I didn't like Cannibal Corpse but I didn't immediatly understand what they were trying to get across in their music. I think the drums are the best instrument on this album because it is the most audible and the blasting is really good. The guitars are pretty crunchy and pretty fast. The bass is pretty good even though you don't hear it most of the time. The vocals could ahve been better but hey, they're Death Metal vocals what to you expect?. There are some memorable songs on here like: Shredded Humans, Edible Autopsy, Born In A Casket, A Skull Full of Maggots, and Buried In The Backyard. Overall this is a great debut but I like the George Fisher-era more.
