Gallery of Suicide Reviews:
every bone broken 5 Star Review
2009-06-05 - how does Gallery of Suicide measure-up? if you love Corpse, you'll love this. i put in on par with Butchered at Birth (from the Chris Barnes era). my favorite track is "dismembered & molested", but if you like one of these songs, you'll like them all. the riffs are brutal & complex. the vocals are more guttural, instead of the mid-range, semi-intelligible style that George goes for. the production is great, but not quite as clear as Kill or Evisceration Plague. if you want some crushing brutality, get this & Bloodthirst. if you want more of a catchy, pop death metal sound, get Gore Obsessed or The Wretched Spawn.

65/100, Quite possibly Cannibal Corpse's worst album. 2 Star Review
2009-03-25 - I'm a huge Cannibal Corpse fan and I hate giving them a low score, but this album is just plain unfortunate. The musicanship on here, while still good, is probably the worst it's ever been. The vocals here are very good, but that can only do so much with boring instrumentals in the background that lack creativity. Cannibal Corpse's lyrics have never been exactly what you would consider genius, but this album contains by far the worst of any album they've made. "Disposal Of The Body" is a surprisingly excellent song that is one of the few redeeming qualities of the album. "Dismembered And Molested" and "Crushing The Despised" are two other good songs. The rest is all mediocre filler that I can't stand listening to more than once, I just skip through it. The overall recording quality of the album may actually be worse than Vile, it's hard to tell as I'm not exactly an expert in that subject. With the relatively good but lacking Vile and now this, I think most fans who decided to stick with Cannibal Corpse after Barnes left were a little worried about the band's future, luckily future albums would all at least be on the level of Vile and would never dip this low again. As of now, I think this is their worst album and let's hope they don't come out with something to take that title. As lacking as the album is, most fans will still find some enjoyment out of it.

This is Death Metal! 5 Star Review

I've been a Cannibal Corpse fan for quite a while and I can never get enough of their brutal Death Metal sound and lyrics. When I first found "Gallery Of Suicide" at a local record store I had no clue who Cannibal Corpse was but its cool album artwork convinced me to buy it, that was my first exposure to Cannibal Corpse. George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher (in my opinion) is a better vocalist for Cannibal Corpse and it really shows on this album (sorry Chris). Even though "Gallery Of Suicide" is longer than their previous album "Vile" it still serves a relentless beating to your ear drums with blazing guitar riffs, fast-paced drum assaults, Alex's amazing bass playing, and a relentless vocal assault to top it all off. This album and "Vile" are my all-time favorite Cannibal Corpse albums out of all the stuff they ever recorded. The "Unite The Dead" song that Alex Webster came up with has some of the sickest lyrics I've ever heard on any Cannibal Corpse album.

WARNING: "Gallery of Suicide" is not for the faint of heart or those who cant stomach lyrics about blood and gore.

But if you are a Cannibal Corpse fan or even a fan of the Death Metal genre this is a must have for any collection.

CANNIBAL CORPSE RULES!!!!!

Psh, I've heard MUCH better 2 Star Review
2007-08-07 - It's true. Probably one of my least favs from Cannibal Corpse. I love their music sooooo much but this album is just way too repetitive and dull. I can't believe I actually fell asleep to a Cannibal Corpse album. But I did!

New fans of Cannibal Corpse I reccommend something a little newer such as Kill or Gore Obssessed.
