Kill Reviews:
damn ol'same music again ! I love it !
2008-03-04 - I pick acdc when I give a party,
I pick sabbath if I need classics,
I pick led zep if I need meditations,
I pick pantera if neighbors play chopin,
I pick vital remains when I need recharging,
I pick "free wheel buring" when I hit the road,
I pick deicide when I need to feel I'm not alone,
The part that I want from CC, they are doing their best on it, and they are better than ever in this work. What do you expect? Dream Theatre or Malmsteen? you want your favorite football player to play tennis? CC is the most serious guys at least about their qualities in their work, so trust them, please.

2007-11-30 - despite being easily written off as realiable yet stagnant this album shows cannibal corpse as still being one of most relevant bands in the current metal scene. they're never going to jump on any new bandwagons or do anything impressively experimental but the subtle refinements they make to their style on each album, and by extension to the genre of true death metal, is something that is going to stand when flavor of the month bands are forgotten. there really is no rhythm guitar. the drumming holds down enough of a steady groove for both guitars to be free to constantly lay parts over it that would amount to lead breaks on most other riff-oriented bands albums but they are focussed enough to still feel like riffs. compared to their last album this might not be anything refeshing but compared to most of what's come out in the genre in the interim it is. the second most progressive modern metal album of 2006, after Anaal Nahtrakh's Eschaton.
There are no extra tracks on this import!
2007-09-09 - The heading says there are extra tracks on this import, however the track listing is the same as the version I bought the day it came out here in America. Don't waste your money on the import, just buy the domestic release. By the way this is a killer album, death metal at it's finest!
One of the best of 2006
2007-04-11 - While 2006 was a great year in metal, this cd flew under the radar. Cannibal Corpse have always pleased there fans, just not the critics. I own all there cds and I cant tell you who is better Barnes or Fisher. I can tell you that this cd is well done death metal and one of the finest cd these guys have made yet.
how did a band like this get signed?
2007-03-16 - what the hell is wrong with people these days? why do people pay their 15 dollars to buy cds from bands as retarded, useless and completely talentless as cannibal corpse? i suppose it could be due to the fact that their fan base is limited to the 8th grade goths who wear make up and cut themselves. as far as the lyrics, they are nothing short of complete garbage. the constant references to necrophilia, cannibalism, rape and murder are not scary, they are not shocking, and they definately werent written with much thought. mabye they write "angry" lyrics because they are frustrated that they are all still virgins at 35 years old because no women will take their greasy smelly arses. perhaps thats why their are so many references to brutalizing women in their music...
dont buy anything from this band at any time for any reason
