Three DVD set by Cannibal Corpse with Centuries of Torment through the Metal Blade Label covering the first 20 years of Cannibal Corpse, an US Death Metal band founded in 1988. The band has released ten studio albums, one boxed set, and one live album. Although Cannibal Corpse has had virtually no radio or television exposure, a cult following began to build behind the group with albums like 1991's Butchered at Birth and 1992's Tomb of the Mutilated. Cannibal Corpse reached over 1 million in record sales worldwide in 2003 including over 500,000 in the US making them one of the biggest selling death metal bands of all time.

    Centuries of Torment Reviews:
Quite possibly the best band documentry of all time. 5 Star Review
2009-03-24 - A Cannibal Corpse fan could not ask for a beter DVD set than this. There's three great DVDs to be found here. The first is the main one, which contains a great biography going from Cannibal Corpse'sformation and even the bands the members were part of before that to the 2006 release, KILL. here's so much information and insight on this DVD, it's really a treat for any fan. The second DVD is all live shows, even some wth Chris Barnes. The quality greatly varies from show to show, but overall it's pretty fun to watch. The third and last disc has lots of different stuff on it like how the notorious album art came to be, issues with being banned, life on the road, Metalocalypse, and how the band members are in normal every day life. The case the whole things comes in is very cool as well. This DVD set shows true dedication to the fans, I know I'm very glad I decided to purchase it.

    Awesome DVD 5 Star Review
2009-01-08 - My boyfriend is a huge Cannibal Corpse fan and I heard that this DVD was very highly rated and just an overall good buy with tons of concert footage, etc. So I bought it for him for Christmas and he loves it. It was a good buy, a quick and smooth purchase. Recommend it for fellow metalheads. \m/

Total Canibal Corpse! 5 Star Review
2008-10-29 - Here's my review of this awesome product.

    Disc 1
    History of the band
First DVD explains thoroughly the history of the band (music, line-up, recording of the albums), from the very beginnings to the actual days, all spiced up with friends interviews, opinions from other bands and even words from Metal Blade Records personal.

    Disc 2
    Live footage
Second disc covers several live presentations of the band. Let's be honest, the old stuff doesn't sound as good as the recent concerts but I think it has its own value (Buffalo gig is memorable)

    Disc 3
    Extra stuff
Know about Cannibal Corpse fan's tattoos, censorship problematic, insight on band's members, discussion of the lyrics, and even a crazy short film based on the Butchered at Birth album cover.

I really like the packaging: A nice hot-stamped (shinny copper) embossed case that will standout from your DVD collection! I strongly recommend to get a copy while you wait for the new album which is being recorded now!

Very good DVD! 5 Star Review
2008-10-27 - when i first herd about Cannibal Corpse coming out with a dvd, i was quite hesitant about picking it up. A couple of my friends told me it was very good and to get it. After i got it, i watched it for a week straight. if you are a Cannibal Corpse i highly suggest buying it. it tells you about how the band started, who does their art work, how they right their music and much much more.

Worth every penny 5 Star Review
2008-08-29 - This DVD set is worth every penny. Footage from the early days, more recent footage as well. You get up close and personal with the band members. What's even better is that Chris Barnes, who I respect but do not fancy, is here to bring his testimonial.

To be mentioned : great editing work. The story flows very professionally. It's something I can't say about Lamb of God's "Walk with me in Hell" DVD.

Go buy it, you won't regret it.
