Editorial Review:
Ten years after the release of SONGBIRD (now Platinum), twelve years after her passing, a new Eva album of all new songs. From Dolly Parton's Coat of Many Colors to her own Somewhere, Eva covers a wide musical spectrum-country, folk, blues, R&B, western swing, appalachian, celtic, Willie Nelson, Gershwin.
Somewhere Reviews:
Eva Cassidy "Somewhere"
2009-09-12 - What a sad loss of such a talented singer/performer. All of her CD's are wonderful, although some have repeated songs. We are lucky that so many songs were recorded before her record contract that came just after her death.
Somewhere by Eva Cassidy
2009-07-02 - This is my seventh Eva Cassidy CD purchase. I love them all. When guests come for a visit, I always play them because they are wonderful and my guests always end up buying one for themselves. What a great testament to her short life!!!
What can I say
2009-06-26 - Any Eva Cassidy is worth buying. Her voice is beautiful. It is too bad she is not still alive. This album is great although Songbird is still the best.
What a voice!
2009-05-03 - Thoroughly enjoy this cd. What a shame that such a talent is no longer with us.

2009-04-14 - I happen to enjoy many types of music, but I tend to lean to rhythm & blues as my favorites. Eva did a fantastic job with them. The first time I heard Eva was in a quaint gift shop in northwest Wisconsin. The CD playing at the time was "eva by heart." I asked who that fabulous singer was and the store owner said, "Eva Cassidy." I haven't been the same since. I now have all her published CD's and book, "Songbird." I can only say 'thanks' to those she left behind who believed in her music and wanted to share it with the world.
