Editorial Review:
For almost twelve years, Jean Beaulne was a member of the Baronets ("the Beatles of Quebec") along with René Angélil. In this book, he has collaborated with writer and journalist Jean Beaunoyer to tell the untold story of René Angélil and Céline Dion. Previously unknown details of René Angélil’s personal and professional life are revealed in this unprecedented investigation into the man who orchestrated one of the foremost successes in the history of show business.
Rene Angelil: The Making of Celine Dion Reviews:
Great REAd
2008-09-23 - Although the book is not well translated I don't agree at all with the previous reviewer, because it's extremely well researched and written_Being a "Dionista", I have read all the books about this amazing woman and have followed her career for over 16 years_Have seen her shows (just shy of 50) in Vegas, Quebec, Boston and NY_ In fact this biograph is almost MORE enjoyable to read then Celine's authorized one because it delves into the real genius behind the star and illuminates Angelil's personality dynamics and nice guy image which brilliantly navigated her to Stardom>>It's a handbook of sorts for any music manager>>>>>Totally A MUST for all Celinophiles>>>>
Book Review
2008-08-21 - This book is not well written and is difficult to follow. The author is writing about Rene Angelil's life based on information he has received second hand. The book does not translate well into english. The reader is often lost with meaningless facts. I was extreamly disappointed with this book.
