2001-04-25 - The cover of this cd is a bit misleading. Though the cd was released in 2000, the interview was actually conducted sometime in 1992-93. Also, the cd cover boasts that it is "packed with original interviews". Only one interview is included on the cd. Nonetheless, it is a worthwhile investment for the serious Celine fan. She is only twenty-four in this interview and is just beginning to achieve international status. It's fun to hear her at this early stage in her career-very excited and awed by her newfound fame in the U.S. The questions asked are a bit dry and unoriginal, however that is really irrelevant. Celine herself is cute, witty, and sweet, making the interview just adorable. Knowing a bit about Celine's career at this stage in her life makes the interview more interesting. The booklet is an accurate outline of her career with several photos. It was definitely compiled in 2000, and contains recent pictures and information up to that date. Overall, the Celine Dion Star Profile is a nice addition to any Celine collection.

Just a piece of the massive Céline universe...
2001-01-14 - This CD is interesting, and probably worth the money if you're a die-hard Céline Dion fan like I, but if you're just a minor Céline fan your money would probably be better spent on a music recording of hers. The CD holds a nice audio interview with Céline, done a while ago so it's a bit dated. I liked the little picture booklet, but again the pictures can be found other places. The bottom line is, this is a great addition to any Céline fan's collection, but don't put it at the top of your Céline list.
