Mediocre mixes 
2004-11-20 - Let me just say that I am not a fan of Celine Dion's music. I think most of it is sappy, overproduced pop trite which makes me ill for the most part. If the drippy lyrics weren't enough, it is Celine's vocal acrobatics that drives me batty. Still my disdain for most of her music (and pop music in general) hasn't stopped me from liking a couple of her songs. My favorite song by Celine is the gorgeous ballad "To Love You More". I first heard this song back in 1997 on Rick Dee's radio show. True, the lyrics border on the cavity/vomit inducing side of pop music but I just couldn't help myself but love the song. I kinda hoped that Sony would have released this song as a single here in the US but they didn't. Thankfully there were was a import single of the song which I bought. I really wanted to hear how the song sounded as dance songs. Unfortunately I didn't think the remixes had the same punch as the remixes for "My Heart Will Go On". I liked the first two remixes by Tony Moran (the crossover and pop remixes) however the I'lL Be...Waiting vocal mix is something to be less than desired but I have heard worse remixes than that. Still it was interesting hearing "To Love You More" remixed.

2001-10-10 - "To Love You More" may be, without a doubt, the best love song of the past decade, but surprisingly, Céline's record company didnt promoted it to became a single in USA, but in Europe, the song was number 1 in Spain, France, Italy, Belgium, Portugal, and even UK. The Japanese went bananas with the song. As original written for being the opening tune for a Japanese mini series, the song became the most successful song ever, and also became the best selling single of all times there, selling more than 5 million singles!
After all of that, I just can't explain why that song wasnt released as a single.
