2009-06-19 - Celine Dion has had the same power, control, range, and perfection for over 20 years now, which very few women have ever been able to match. This first English release completes my collection, and it stands out among the best she has ever done. Bravo, Little Lady! You're the best!

A Solid Effort For An Early Artist 
2009-05-30 - Few music listeners, with the exception of industry insiders, could have predicted the amazing rise of Celine Dion. The powerful, magnificient voice was always there, but the exceptional songs and artist packaging came later.
Unison is the first step in Dion's English language career. With over 10 French Albums and having the accomplishment of being the most succesful Canadian artist in history, Celine launched her voice to a worldwide audience. Unison is a mix of early 90's soft rock and contemporary ballads. "Where Does My Heartbeat Now" stands out as one of the recordings strongest selections. The song is very well written and does an excellent job of showcasing Dion's voice. "If There Was Any Other Way" show's Celine's edgy side while "Have a Heart" is a true Dion Ballad through and through.
Although Unison is not at the level of Dion's subsequent work, the listener hears a voice that is not as trained and calculated as the one we hear today. For this reason it makes Unison an interesting listen.
Ahead of it's time
2009-03-09 - One listen and you're easily able to grasp the fact this woman would be one of the biggest recording artists of all time. For even the slightest Celine Dion fan, this is a must-have for your collection. Without a doubt.
Great Unison cassette
2009-01-31 - Unison is forty-three minutes and two seconds long and was released on September 11, 1990. Unison reached #74 on the US Billboard Album 200 charts and went Platinum. Of the five single released, only three of them charted. Unison is great to listen to and marks Celine first English song album. Celine Dion does not try to upstage herself nor is her ego in any of these songs. Though it does not want me make the jump to become a full fledge Celine Dion fan, it does make want to rent some of her other music. She gets an A+ on her first try.
