Will this be the year dreams come true? Dreams of a basketball comeback (Nathan), of musical success (Haley), of finding happiness (Peyton), of finding a decent job (Mouth), of being like his hero Q (Jamie), of saving the Clothes Over Bro’s brand from her rhymes-with-witch mom (Brooke), or of marrying the right girl (Lucas – and speaking of Lucas, just which one is the right girl?). What isn’t a dream: Dan learning what it’s like to be on the other side of a sadist-victim relationship, Skills’ and Deb’s hookup threatening to come unhooked…and all the love and heartbreak, suspense and surprises that 24 powerful Season 6 episodes on 7 discs can hold.

Description of One Tree Hill: The Complete Sixth Season:
One Tree Hill: The Complete Sixth Season picks up with the resolution of the fifth season's tantalizing cliffhanger: just whom did Lucas Scott (Chad Michael Murray) ask, via cell phone, to marry him? The lucky lady turns out to be (as most fans would have hoped) Peyton (Hilarie Burton), the love of his life. Looking for a quickie Vegas wedding, the happy couple decide at the last minute that they don't want to get hitched without friends and family present, so it's back to Tree Hill and all the thrills and troubles experienced by the old gang.

There's plenty of both to go around. Skills (Antwon Tanner) is still in a furtive romance with Deb Scott (Barbara Alyn Woods), mother of his close friend and Lucas' half-brother, Nathan Scott (James Lafferty). Nathan is still struggling, post-injury, to fulfill his dream of playing in the National Basketball Association. Brooke (Sophia Bush) is working hard to keep her mother (Daphne Zuniga) from wresting control over the fashion company Brooke started. Marvin (a.k.a. "Mouth") takes a job in Omaha, only to leave his fiancée behind to help Brooke. Little Jamie (Jackson Brundage) becomes close to a Ravens basketball star, Quentin (Robbie Jones), only to experience heartbreak. Dan, Lucas' and Nathan's father--whom we last saw struck by a car--finds himself in a Misery-like nightmare, kept captive by a crazy lady who tortures him and forces him to eat live insects. (Yes, well, perhaps this bit of the season's storyline is ridiculously over-the-top.) Only Haley, Nathan's wife and Jamie's mom, demonstrates her typical equanimity in the face of everyone else's crises. And the crises keep on coming. A significant death devastates everyone. Nathan gets word from his doctor that basketball could cripple him for life. Peyton's health is on the line after becoming pregnant. Brooke is physically assaulted in her own shop. Lucas can't decide who should direct the film version of his autobiographical first novel. Dan awaits word that an available heart can replace his own, failing one. So it goes in Tree Hill, and more than ever, it's hard not to stay engrossed. --Tom Keogh

One Tree Hill: The Complete Sixth Season Reviews:
I love it 5 Star Review
2009-12-09 - There was nothing wrong with my season six One Tree Hill it was new just like it said. I love it thank you so much.

One of the best of the series 5 Star Review
2009-11-28 - Season 6 was definitely one of my favorite seasons of the show. The first four were entertaining, but the endless love triangles, catfights, and puppy love grew old after about two seasons. It's nice to have the characters we love all grown up and having, well, "grown-up" problems.

A definite plus for this season was finally having Lucas and Peyton (our epic-but-never-meant-to-be-couple) as an actual couple. I'm only sad to know that this is the last time we will be seeing those two on the show, as Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton are both not returning next season.
There were several other really good, engaging plot lines this season - including Brooke dealing with her attack, the introduction of her foster daughter Sam, Quentin's death, and some really great moments for Brooke and Peyton's friendship (which I think has always been and always will be the heart of the show).

Yes, it's a soap, but it's a good soap! OTH fans will drool over season 6.

*Just a side note: the packaging was so much more compact and sleek than the other seasons! It seems like not a big deal, but it was kind of nice, I thought...

One Tree Hill- 6th Season 5 Star Review
2009-11-02 - The first one we got was damaged and they sent us a new one with no questions! Absolutely great service!

One Excellent Show 4 Star Review
2009-10-20 - I've been a Tree Hill fan since the show first came out. I know that many liken this to 90120. And, while there may be some similarities stylistic wise the attitude and characters sever that tie quickly. "One Tree Hill" had a very average 5th season as the characters were making the transition from school to adulthood. Season six brought back the edginess that was missing in season 5. It's sad that the two main characters, Lucas Scott and Peyton Sawyer are now gone. To me, they along with Brooke Davis, made the show what it was. Will that magic be gone now? Only time will tell. But I can say this, the first 6 seasons are some of the best as far as tv drama is concerned. So, if you have not picked up season 6 yet you need to do so as it rounds out the series....at least up to the end of the Luke era!!

    great purchase 5 Star Review
2009-10-15 - I have purchased every complete season of One Tree Hill for my daughter. The first one for her when she was 13. I say that it can be recommended for teens - adults. It has events that could really happen and deals with issues that teens - adults really go thru. Of course if you have never watched this show before, do not get this one first. Start in order from the beginning and work your way thru to this one. All the original actors are not still in it, but these sets do work as a true series. I don't think that this series dissapoints. May not be the best one but certainly is still an awesome show. One Tree Hill is highly recommended by me and my daughter!
