The original The Crow
2009-09-27 - When The Crow was released back in 1994 a lot of people found it original and well presented. But the fact is that this movie from 1986 is it's source. Sorry for The Crow's author James La Barr, but is the truth. The Wraith had an obvious very small budget but is really nice, the acting is good and the characters cool, the punk who sniffs WD40 is still one of my favorite 80's movie characters. There are a lot of people here who later became famous, I could be mistaken but I believe this is Charlie Sheen's first movie. And the girl Sherilyn Fenn was hot like hell, she look far better than the famous Megan Fox today. This is a really cool 80's flick, do not pass it up.

2009-07-31 - I have had the movie on VHS since it first came out!! I had a couple of friends come over and we decided we wanted to watch The "Wraith" I said that sounds like a plan!! beings we have not seen it for such a long time! I put the tape in, Cracked open my beer!! (MGD of course) we started to watch the movie! We got halfway thru it and the VCR decided to start crinkling the tape to a point, it snapped!!! Stretched it out and broke the tape!!!!!!!!! OHH I WAS FURIOUS!!!!!!! I have always cleaned the tape path of my VCR!! and not by just sticking a tape cleaner and calling it done!!! NO WAY I took the cover off and cleaned the entire path and stuck new bands on it as well!! thats how it lasted me ever since The "Wraith" came out!!! Thats why now I seen it was on DVD? I knew I had to have it!!!! I didnt care How much it cost!! I wanted it!! I give this movie 10,000 stars if you were able too!! AMAZON!!!!had Just like they have everything else!! I will never shop anywhere else EXCEPT RIGHT HERE!!!! AMAZON.COM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "The Wraith" Buy this movie before its gone!! it's already out of print!! EXCELLENT MOVIE!!!

A True Classic! Not to be missed by car fans

Let's face it, if you came here looking for a Wraith review you already know how great this movie is. I'll start this off by saying that this movie is the one that I hold closest to me. I saw this movie when it was pretty much new to everyone. This movie changed my life. Never in my life had I seen something so beatiful. The Black Turbo Interceptor is forever etched in my mind along with that beautiful sound she makes. Vraaaaam! Vraaaam! Seriously though, this is really a great car flick. It's probably one of the earlier films from the awsome Charlie Sheen. The dialogue is kind of cheesy, the plot is kind of corny, but man o man is it great! This really is the 80's movie to watch. The sound track is epic "Where's the fire!" awsome song, as well as a few others throughout the movie.

About the movie: Pretty much a back from the dead revenge story. Yeah some guy gets screwed over by a gang or what ever have you, they take is his loved one from him or something like that, and by some magical force he comes back to life to avenge what has been done wrong to him... yeah yeah yeah seen it seen it.

BUT WAIT!

This avenger has an unbeatable car as his weapon of choice, and he literally races his victims to death! now how awsome does that sound?

All I have to say is this. If you like cars Buy it! If you like 80's horror flicks Buy It! If you like Charlie Sheen Buy it! If you see this Buy it! It's just an all around great movie!

2009-01-19 - I bought the DVD as a gift. As far as I know it plays fine, but when I received it the plastic case was broken. I suppose it could have happened during delivery.

good to relieve the 80's
2008-08-03 - When watching this movie, I remember why I have a crush on Charlie Sheen, and what was so great and corny about teen movies from the 80's. It is a fantastic buy and a great/corny movie to watch.
