Editorial Review:
Plato was the first great philosopher of the West. He thought that there are changeless eternal forms on which existing things are modeled. To Plato human beings consist of an immortal soul together with a body that keeps it in the twilight world of changing perishing things. the soul has a love for the eternal the good the true and the beautiful; these give life purpose stability and meaning.
Plato: Greece (Ca. 428-348 B.C.) (Audio Classics) Reviews:
Very Good!
2008-12-06 - This was a very educational and though provoking book. I enjoyed listening to this book very much. I listened to it twice, right away and I will listening to it again and again.
Good brief intro to Plato
2007-09-03 - If you are looking for a brief intro to Plato in about 3 hours this audiobook is fairly good. To do obtain a proper analysis of Plato the tape should have been about 3 to 4 times its length, however.
