2008-07-25 - If you can't get enough of the clever poem read during Disney's Haunted Mansion Ride featuring the Nightmare Before Christmas, this CD will make you happy all year round. Well worth the purchase, and the additional songs are also very fun!

Brings Back Memories of Being There!
2008-04-09 - If you've been to Disneyland during the holidays then I would highly recommend this CD! The last track includes the full-length version that is heard from the time you step foot into the Haunted Mansion all the way until you exit! The rest of the songs are ones heard while waiting in the queue. I am a HUGE fan of the Haunted Mansion and also The Nightmare Before Christmas so if you are as well then you will enjoy this memorable CD!!

Spooky holiday fun!

1. You're a Nightmare Before Christmas fan
2. You're a Haunted Mansion fan
3. You're growing weary of hearing all the same old Christmas songs during the holiday
4. You love spooky stuff
5. You love novelty Christmas music

Like a lot of Tim Burton's projects, the themes of the songs can be a bit morbid in a fun and spooky way, so it may not be suitable for really young kids. However, I had a Disney Christmas CD like this as a kid, and I got a huge kick out of it then.

Silly, Spooky Holiday Fun for All Ages
2005-12-04 - For several years now, Disneyland has decked their infamous Haunted Mansion's halls with Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas décor around the holiday season. Now you can take that experience home with the Haunted Mansion Holiday CD.

Tracks one through eight are humorous Nightmare Before Christmas themed parodies of holiday classics which are played while standing in line for the attraction. Some interesting parodies include "Scary Bells," "Over the Graveyards," "Wreck the Halls," "We Wish You a Scary Christmas," and "God Rest You Merry Grinning Ghosts." Track nine is a short medley of musical clips from Tim Burton's film. Track ten takes the listener through the entire Haunted Mansion Holiday ride.

While I found this CD to be a bit short, and one singer's voice to be particularly irritating at parts, this is still a silly, fun album to have around during the holidays. While not the greatest holiday CD I've ever heard, it's also certainly not the worst. Fans of Tim Burton and those who can appreciate a creepy spin on the holiday season will find some humor and child-like delight in the music contained herein.
