Dirrty Reviews:
Tough Times --> Get Dirty! 5 Star Review
2009-09-28 - All three tracks on this single have sure fire attitudes of feeling strong, confident, and ready to take on anything. It's music to feel uplifted, recharged, and in a funk to party, dance, or just enjoy and kick back. While the tracks "Dirrty" are filled with dance, hip-hop, rap, and infectious hooks, the ballad brings emotions close to the heart of many who have felt alone or afraid in a world of hard times, difficulties, or just moments of questionable doubts. This CD-single is smashingly hot, sexy, and edgy with much soulfulness, hip-hop, and R&B straying away from the pop sound!

"Dirrty" (No Rap Edit) [4:01] has the same beats and music with Christina's vocals unchanged but it omits the rap by Redman. For those who like to hear the song without any hip-hop influence or rap then this is the track to have on the set. And if you like to have diversity then this is a top selection. Lovers of Karaoke can rap in between if bold to try.

"I Will Be" [4:12] is a beautiful ballad with much soulfulness, and beautiful vocals. It's thought provoking and brings messages out to be strong despite adversity. She sings, "I will be strong on my own, I will see through the rain..." bringing the blues feeling along a piano accompaniment that only is reinforced by Christina's vocals sounding at times like those New Orleans divas or Atlanta soulful stars of the times. To add to this, there are some gospel type vibes on other parts like, "I will find my way, I will keep on traveling the road until I finally reach my dream until I'm living... I get on my knees praying.." Christina, like so few artists today, feels it's her gift to her fans to spread her life-lessons and help those in need with this song. It's soft, tender, and in the core of heart embracing, touching, and inspirational!

"Dirrty" (featuring Redman Full-Length Version] [4:58] has Redman rapping on full effect to bring a fierce hip-hop party atmosphere filled with club ambiance, dance vibes, and much heavy energy impact. This is a song of empowerment, to feel strong, confident, and if one must get dirty due to difficult circumstances or people then get dirty! The beats are strong, fast, and full of speed to get your juices flowing, dance rush, or party cravings on high gear! The singing, accompanied by the rap brings a more hip-hop sound definitely with a darker edgier sexy style since it has much drama as compared to the no rap edit.

Dirrty, A Great Song 4 Star Review
2003-08-30 - I've always liked Christina's music, but after seeing her in concert last Saturday at the Justified/Stripped tour, I like her even more. This is a girl who can REALLY sing, and she deserves some credit for Dirrty!!! The bonus, "I Will Be" is a really great song as well, and well worth it to buy this cd if you are a Christina fan! I thought this cd included the video on it as well, but it doesn't...that was my only disappointment.

Dirrty: X-Tina's Way 1 Star Review
2003-05-14 - Hmm....while this may not be Aguilera's worst song, probably her best, it just isn't up to par. The song itself would recieve a five star review, but the way the poptart handles herself pushed the review all the way down. The bonus track, "I Will Be," is not too bad but, it just isn't very good either. Christina has something going for herself, it is just she pushed the limits too far and will always be remembered now for "Dirrty." The song bombed in her native U.S.A. stalling at a very low #48, and she is now laughed at by many just for being, "dirrty." Take this into consideration, but if you do want to own something if hers, try "Stripped."
