2000-07-24 - ....this song proved that she would be victorious at the 2000 Grammy Awards earlier this year. And like Céline Dion, another powerful-voiced singer (who I used to like), she can hit high notes without reason to show off, not like Mariah Carey or the less-than-talented likes of Jennifer López, Madonna, or the Spice Girls. It's not surprising her next album hasn't come out yet.

2000-05-09 - This CD is really good and shows off Christina's excellent vocal abilities. Here are my reviews on the tracks of this single.
1. Genie in a Bottle - This is my favorite Christina song. It is really, really catchy. Very nice beat.
2. We're a Miracle - This is a very pretty song, and Christina puts a lot of effort into her vocals. Plus, she helped write it! This one isn't included on her album and is worth buying this single for it.
3. Don't Make Me Love You (Till I'm Ready) - This one is definitely creative sounding. Excellent dance beat, lots of catches and great rythm. This song also isn't included on the album, which is all the more reason to get the single.
Pretty good lyrics. Makes a great latin freestyle jam. 
2000-04-14 - ChristinaA has the looks to make a gay guy go straight and Genie In A Bottle at first comes across as a sexually exploitive song, but give it another listen. Here Christina sings about a girl who has been longing for a relationship but will not just jump at any guy who be "lickin' your lips and blowin' kisses my way". So while her body is saying "let's go", while she may find someone sexy, she chooses to show restraint: "but my heart is saying no" She sings of having a standard that a guy must live up to if he wants to be with her. Though she longs for a relationship that is both romantic and sexual, more important aspects must be tended to first before those can be enjoyed. This song has a great message to young adults who often go charging off into a relationship only to end up regretting the choices they made and often it's too late to undo the damage. I hope Christina focuses more on her vocal and writting abilities more than looks in her next album. I believe that she could very be the next Gloria Estefan.

2000-02-25 - This of course, was the song that made my girl Christina famous, and that made her win a Grammy Award. You listen to this and think she's another Britney, but once you hear "I Turn To You", you'll regret those thoughts. P.S.- Christina, if your pretty blue eyes are reading this, I know this is the 3rd time I've told u this, but I love you- You were my first major celebrity crush, and to this day, you are still my perfect girl. One of the Best
2000-02-25 - This album was the best. Christina has the most amazing voice and this song just makes it so much better. I don't think I've met one person whho doesn't like the way she sings in this album. She's great.(Better than Brittney Sprears)!
