Lady Marmalade Reviews:
Brilliant song but the CD stinks 3 Star Review
2002-12-30 - When I first heard "Lady Marmalade" on the radio, I LOVED it. It was so catchy, so brilliant, it was the best song I'd heard in ages. Then, when it came to my birthday I received the single as a present. I was happy that I had "Lady Marmalade" on CD, but the rest of it was boring.
The remixes are boring, and the only really good track is the radio edit of "Lady Marmalade". The song itself is groovy, and sexy. Everyone sounds good on this (even though I'm not a fan of Pink, Mya or Lil Kim), and Christina sounds brill at the end. I like Missy Elliot's part on the song at the end, and overall it's a cool song.
I give this three stars, because I love "Lady Marmalade" by itself. But don't buy this single, get the soundtrack to Moulin Rouge instead... oh yeah and Moulin Rouge the movie is good too.

Horrible but Nice Looking Babes! 1 Star Review
2002-05-04 - I like the Video to the Song.the Girls Look Good.but as far as them as Singers&whatnot? they can't hold Patti Labelle's Left Lung.a Dinky Re-Make that Sounds more closer to En Vouge's "Free Your Mind" than the Original Labelle Jam.find the Original Jam leave this alone.

Lady Marmalade sans video 4 Star Review
2002-04-18 - I loved the single so much that I went to see the film and was totally disappointed. I wish that they would release the single on Video as I think that those women were fabulous and Missy e excellent.

Great song, but buy the other single 3 Star Review
2002-01-06 - I definitely recommend the other version with the mixes. This one is not Lady Marmalade only, but a compilation of other trashy songs from Moulin Rouge.

Not Patti Labelle, but....... 3 Star Review
2001-06-02 - not too bad a version of Lady Marmalade - except for the increasingly trashy and tarty Christina Aguilera, could have done without her. Mya, Lil Kim and Pink are, however, quite brilliant. (Patti's version gets 5, as she has an incredible voice)
