Nobody Wants to Be Lonely, Pt. 1 Reviews:
Pleased in Ocala 5 Star Review
2007-06-15 - This cd is one of the best I own. The combination of Ricky Martin and Cristina Aguileras' voices make a perfect melody and even improve the original version. Well you have two of the best voices together. What can we expect? I am very proud to own this CD and at the same time recognize the humanitarian that Ricky Martin is and all the good he is doing to combat human traficking worldwide and helping out economically with the Sunami victims. Other stars should take him as an example and voice up their opinions and give back something for a humanitarian project.
This country and the whole world are very lucky to have a Ricky Martin trying to make a difference. I will always purchase all his CDs since it's my small grain of salt to support him

God Bless him

The duet is superb enough to get this 4 stars, but...... 4 Star Review
2004-12-30 - I can't really call myself a fan of Ricky Martin (if I were I'd never admit it), but his stunning duet with Christina Aguilera is a timelessly beautiful song-and it is accompanied by an extremely beautiful (and incredibly sexy) video. That's the biggest let-down of this disc, the video included is not the duet version but rather Ricky's solo Spanish version of the song. Ricky's warbling and Christina's lack of restraint sometimes make the vocals less than perfect, but you can still feel the rich, profound emotion in this song-and it hits hard. The duet version is really all I find myself listening to, because the Spanish solo lacks the punch of the duet and the remix is repetitive. Still a worthwhile buy, however, for the duet alone-and I must say, that picture on the cover is the best either of them have ever looked.

5 stars for the duet version 4 Star Review
2004-02-23 - But not as many for Ricky's solo version. He is usually capable of making much better solo songs than this. However, it's the duet version with Christina that hits it out of the ballpark. His vocals are much better in this version, and when put side-by-side with the timeless vocals of Christina, and sung with emotional lyrics and true conviction to get with them; you cannot say you don't like it. Even the haters must admit- this song is a thumbs up.

It was nominated for a Grammy, but lost to - ironically - Christina's other hit collaboration that came out at the same time. None other than the infamous "Lady Marmalade." However, I must say that this track has fared better in time out of the 2, and was always my favorite.

In a country where every song on the chart is a collaboration (no doubt inspired by that fateful first half of 2001 when Christina ruled the charts with assorted collaborations as side projects to help fans keep their patience for her sophomore album), "Lady Marmalade" has lost its starpower and shine, while this song has not. It is just as powerful as when it first came out.

Absolutely beautiful! 5 Star Review
2003-09-10 - These two make beautiful music together! They have to do another duet and give a video and single another chance to make musical perfection! This one was gorgeous, but you could just see so much wild passion ready to be set free in the voices of both of them. I would LOVE another Ricky x Christina duet.
I am a 38 yr. old married female fan of both of these tremendously talented artists.

Can't get any better!! 5 Star Review
2003-04-20 - With the awesome voices of Ricky Martin and Christina Aguilera, how could this be anything but EXCELLENT!! Love them both!!
