Tell Me, Pt. 1 Reviews:
Party Until You Drop Moods!
2009-09-29 - This single is off Diddy's album titled, Press Play and features Christina Aguilera, Nicole Scherzinger, and Yung Joc, Young Dro, and T.I.
This single is off the chain soulful funk with Diddy singing fully charged like a mad man possessed by James Brown on tracks like "Get Off" and the wild arrogant freak on others like "Tell Me". He's on fire blazing hot ready to explode and to party non-stop. The beats kick fast, the energy levels escalate to boiling points and the atmosphere is bad boy strong. The explicit lyrics are quite "there" thus reminding the world of listeners to let it out, get your feeling off your chest, and express! The vocals by Christina, Nicole Scherzinger, and the rap by Yung Joc, Young Dro and T.I. are phenomenal.
"Tell Me" Main Version and Instrumental have the back and forth of Christina and Diddy singing on party type vibes with excellent song-writing, musical beats, and catchy hooks. The first having the vocals and the second only the music with some sighs and a few sounds [Diddy can't control his urges to occasionally say something or sigh].
"Get Off" is off the charts phenomenal and reminiscent of James Brown's style. It's a battle of speed, dynamic madness to go rap strong, and a vitamin filled delivery of messages on full fast forward. Diddy is so full of uncontrollable funk that it makes a drug user on massive party moods seem like a baby sleeping. He's on fire and nothing can stop him with this track.
"Come To Me" featuring Nicole Scherzinger, Yung Joc, Young Dro and T.I. sets the energy to an even more explosive burst with full rap by all featured artists thus bringing the spotlight on party to the upmost of levels along Nicole's beautiful style and singing. This is by far, a great selection with heavy bass, bounce, hip-hop, rap, and slamming soaring funk!

2007-04-03 - Loved this song the first time I saw the video, had to own my on copy to play over and over. The way P.Diddy mixes R&B with the soulful vocals of an amazing talent such as Christina Agellara is a win win. "Come to Me" is the second song on this single which is also a treat because it has a more Hip Hop vibe. Then number four sounds like a Tribute to The God Father of Soul James Brown. P.Diddy sings over his origanal hit "Get Off" and almost sounds just like James Brown. A great end to an amazing CD single.
