Christopher Walken A to Z: The Man-The Movies-The Legend Reviews:
Glad I bought it here, instead of for full price!
2009-10-06 - Well, it'll do if you only need a somewhat non-personal overview of a pretty beloved eccentric type guy! It would be a bit more on course it there were more of a personal input from Mr. Walken. Oh there are a few quotes from him here & there, and of course, lots of outside observances of his supposed likes/dislikes. It's OK as far as an alphabetized movie listing. And it has its moments. I think it could be a lot more on target with the in put of very close friends and loving family.
He is the MAN and this book proves it!
2009-07-15 - This book is great for a run through of all of Walken's works, quirks and general life. He is an incredible actor, full of wit, wonder, true to himself, and also, has a full measure of mystery. Great read.
The man, the myth, the legend
2009-06-21 - What a character! I thought this was a biography type book when I bought it at my wife's request (she's a bigger Walken fan than I am), but it's not. More an encyclopedic A-Z reference than a read-through, it is still very entertaining and well-written.
I enjoyed learning all the obscure trivia and recommend it. It is a little on the small side, but the man more than makes up for it!
Enjoy!
Ya Gotta Love Chris!
2009-06-14 - As a fan of Chris Walken, I enjoyed this book thoroughly. I loved the birthday cake trick!
Not a coffee table book
2009-01-18 - Like the title says, this is not coffee table book like I had thought (or at least hoped). It's actually a little smaller than most of the books on my shelf (the gold cover is nice though). But besides that it's great, fun little excerpts to just read about Christopher Walken... not something you'd read cover to cover, more of a reference book--something to keep out in a random place for sudden moments of boredom... pretty much exactly why I wanted it as a coffee table book
