  • Editorial Review:
From the director of The Fugitive comes a riveting, turbo-charged crime thriller starring international action star Chuck Norris ("Walker, Texas Ranger"). Exploding with heart-stopping chases and lethal martial arts confrontations, it's a "daring" (Washington Post) and "suspenseful" (Boxoffice) adventure that pits an honest cop against two vicious crime lordsand his own department. Eddie Cusack (Norris) is a Chicago detective who plays by his own rulesa dangerous habit, especially when he breaks the force's "code of silence" to blow the lid off a deadly police cover-up. Now an outcast, he receives little help from his embittered fellow officers when he's hurled into a blistering battle against rival drug kingpins. But Cusack is a one-man army, waging war on the criminals with his razor-sharp wits, lighting-fast karate moves and a special surprise: "Prowler," a remote-controlled, rocket-equipped tank!

    Code of Silence Reviews:
Great Chuck Norris movie 4 Star Review
2009-10-06 - Great old school 80s Chuck Norris movie. Lots of fist fights and gun fights perfect action movie.

a must own dvd 4 Star Review
2009-08-12 - man chuck norris can kick some butt in any movie the new movies not so sure about but his older collection yeah a must own to get. this movie rocks

"When I want your opinion, I'll beat it out of you." 5 Star Review
2008-11-14 - Terrific action film with a little more depth than usual Norris flick. This film was scripted by the same team who gave the "classic" THE CAR and was originally intended for Clint Eastwood (who passed on it). Chuck does a pretty good job as Eddie Cussack. CODE OF SILENCE refers not just to the mobsters but the cops as well. Maybe the assault machine at the end is a little much, but I give a high five. Solid performances from Henry Silva, Dennis Farrino and Bert Remsen. Recommended to one and all.

"CHUCK FULL OF ACTION!!!" 5 Star Review
2008-07-27 - I HAD AN OLD FADED VIDEO OF THIS MOVIE. I REMEMBERED THAT I LIKED IT VERY MUCH. WHEN I WATCHED
THIS DVD ON MY BIG SCREEN TV , I WAS KNOCKED OUT!!! THIS IS THE BEST NORRIS MOVIE I'VE EVER SEEN!
    I ONLY REVIEW WHAT I THINK A CD OR A DVD DESERVES 4 OR 5 STAR'S. THIS FILM , WITHOUT A SHADOW
OF A DOUBT IS, 5 STAR'S!!! YOU GOT ONE GANG PITTED AGAINST ANOTHER,YOU GOT A BAD COP,
THERE IS A VERY FUNNY BAR SCENE . YOU'VE GOT HENRY SILVA AS
ONE OF THE GANG LEADER'S. DENNIS FERINA AS THE COMIC RELIEF. GET IT!!!

    Classic Silliness 4 Star Review
2008-06-26 - "If I want your opinion, I will beat it out of you" says Chuck Norris to an entire pool-hall of coked-up Columbian gangsters. Need I say more? Good fight scenes, horrible, wooden dialogue, and Chuck taking on a Columbian cartel in Chicago (and police corruption) pretty much single-handedly. This may be his "best" movie.
