Loved the Series 
2009-10-27 - When this series came out back in 1994, i was just getting into high school and i have to say that what Winnie Holzman did with the writing of this series, really saved me and showed me that i was not alone. Her character's were so true to life that even today, 15 years after the show got cancelled, it still has an effect on people's lives. My mom bought this DVD series for me for my 30th birthday and i still love the show, it brings me back to when i had those thoughts that Angela felt and did those things that they did. Claire Danes' character Angela Chase, was very much me when i was in high school. I wore the flannel shirts, the combat boots and the jeans. And i even had friends like Rickie and Rayanne and had that huge crush on that unattainable guy like Jordan Catalano. The only disappointing feature in this DVD series is the fact that Jared Leto didn't come back to do any commentary or talk about his experience when he was on the show.
To this day, i wish that ABC could have at least gave MSCL a second season, because i would of liked to have seen through the eyes of Rayanne, Rickie, Sharon and Jordan more that what they showed from the first and only season.
I miss the 90's because even though i hated being a teenager, i miss what it was like to discover new things about yourself and feeling your first crush, that first puppy love that it's so strong you think you'll die, or that first really embarrassing zit or the first time you dyed your hair.
This series showed me that i have a voice and i can tell people what i really think and feel and it has made me the person i am today.
I would recommend this series to all teenagers who feel lost and think that no one understands them. Even though the clothing and the music has changed, the feelings are the things that have remained the same and to me that is the most important.

2009-10-14 - I love this show and I like how they kept it in sequence so I didn't have to keep going back and forth between discs.

2009-10-11 - At least a decade before it's time. the writing in this series is right on and if you can't relate maybe you were in a coma or grew up in another country or something. Everytime I watch another episode I have a new favorite character. Nine so far, not to mention the awesome music you've turned me on to. Juliana Hatfield was a great touch and I've become a lifelong fan of hers. A shout out to paul dooley, he can be a judge, a dad to patty and susan lewis and I saw him as a car salesman in something else lately, and he can do these convincingly well. Great acting all around. I imagine Tino is a (slightly older) male version of Rayanne.
An imortal tv show
2009-09-16 - Dispite its short life, this tv show won't be forget for us fans. Maybe this became the reason for its immortallity, because we could imagine lots of things that would happen... But every time I watch, I feel empty, a little sad 'cause it's finished. In the case of this dvd is better because we have a book who explains the autors ideas for the next episodes (if their existed) and a great bonus dvd with enterviews with lots of the caracters and we can miss less the show.
I don't know if you understood me but I just can say that I really love this show and I miss it very much. If you like a really good drama, very real, watch it and you'll love it too.
One Season is not Enough
2009-08-20 - I loved this series. The only thing that I didn'tlike is it leaves you wanting to see more and there are no more episodes.
