Clay Aiken may look wide-eyed and unassuming, but when it comes to figuring out what his fans want for Christmas, he's got it all figured out. On Merry Christmas with Love he so cannily anticipates the musical sugarplums dancing in the heads of his devotees that you half expect him to climb down the chimney and hand-deliver it. Key to the dozen-song collection's appeal is its straightforwardness: Parting ways with the sea of celebrities who use holiday discs as an excuse to cut loose, Aiken banishes irony and coyness so absolutely here that certain carols--the medley "Hark the Herald Angels Sing/O Come All Ye Faithful" and "Silent Night" especially--take on church-like tones; expect tree trimmers to put aside their tinsel and contemplate the meaning of the season. 2009-12-09 - clay has always been a favourite of mine, but of late he seems to have been out of sight, this record is just fabulous and proves once again what a marvellous talent he is. He needs to find a new management who will guide him and show what a wonderful talent he is,still think he is the best Idol!!! hope to hear new from him in the not too distant future, we all love you Clay.
Beautiful Music For Christmas
2009-11-27 - Clay has a beautiful voice that ia very well-suited for Christmas Music. This CD has secular music as well as music that relates ro the meaning of the Holiday. I prefer the Christmas Carols where he does an excellent job. I am not thinking about New Year's Eve yet so it is my least favorite track. I hope everyone who enjoys Christmas music will be able to get this CD. I am glad I have it can listen every year. You will enjoy it.
Still The Best Christmas Album
2009-09-27 - Merry Christmas With Love by Clay Aiken is still the very best and most listenable Christmas Album I have ever heard.
I love to hear it at Christmas time and anytime throughout the year.
Christmas Music at it's finest
2009-08-18 - I bought this CD when it first came out and am happy to buy another one. No one sings O HOLY NIGHT like Clay Aiken! And my all time favorite version of DON'T SAVE IT ALL FOR CHRISTMAS DAY is on this CD. I like all of the songs except Joy to the World (it's production is a bit over the top).
But if you love Christmas, you can't not love this CD. I highly recommend it.

2009-02-03 - Wonderful set of Christmas songs sung by Clay Aiken. He showed what made him an Idol star. I especially enjoyed his version of "Sleigh Ride." I almost wanted to jump out of my car and start dancing with the neighbor's snowman -- oh, what joy and fun, he brought to the song.
