Coldplay - A Rush of Blood to the Head (Piano/Vocal/Guitar Artist Songbook) Reviews:
As Music Books Should Be
2009-06-13 - First, I am absolute Coldplay fanatic, and the best way to get even closer to their amazing music is to actually play it. This is not one of those music books that tries to make the piano treble hand into the voice of the song. They have the voice, guitar chords, piano treble and bass, and the lyrics. I got this for the piano and it has been absolutely awesome. Now, I also know some Coldplay songs on guitar from their other cds and at times, I wish this book could be both a guitar and piano songbook, but this book is written as it should be if you're wanting to play the piano or sing. If they had one more line of music for the guitar, I'd be even more happy.
Either way, I definitely recommend this book. I've bought some crappy music books over the years and this is the opposite of those fake ones back in the day. If you're a Coldplay fan and you want to play their songs on the piano or sing, or both, then this is the book for you.
AWSHUM
2009-01-04 - I love this book, it is Awesome.
really accurate and even the songs with primarily guitar sound good on the piano, except daylight doesn't sound quite as good without guitar. The songs are pretty repetitive and easy to memorize, so you can play them without the book, which is great because, girls love coldplay, and if they don't then they arent really the kind of girls you want to be with anyway. so now i can play clocks, the scientist, in my place, god put a smile upon your face, and politik without a book.
There are some tricky key signatures though, so i wouldnt recomend it to beginners, but if you can play, go for it
Not what I expected
2008-11-29 - There's no guitar tablature. What a disappointment. If you play piano, you'll be satisfied, otherwise I wouldn't recommend it.
A Pleasure to Play
2007-09-05 - I look forward to going home every night (and probably much to my neighbors' and roommate's dismay) to try to play and sing at the same time. The music is for the piano to accompany the rest of the band, so it doesn't always carry the melody. But it's awesome and not too bad. The abundance of sharps and flats may scare some, such as me, but in the end the chords are not too difficult; there is a lot of repetition. I am particularly fond of many of the songs. I hope this helps! Personally, I prefer Parachutes.
Great Condition, Great Content
2007-02-06 - It feels great to order something and get exactly what you intended and had in mind, all at the same time it being in wonderful condition. It was a smart order.
