Editorial Review:
Brand new single their third taken from their #1 UK debut album is a beautiful piano ballad, b/w a brand new version of their one off single they did for Fierce Panda last year 'Brothers & Sisters' that is 10 times better here than the 'Fierce Panda' version & a new BBC session version of their previous single 'Shiver' they recorded for the Jo Whiley show in the UK. 3 tracks, packaged in a digi-pack.
Trouble Reviews:
Great Live Album
2005-08-21 - I enjoyed this album as soon as I heard it. It sounds amazing and the tracks are classic! I would recommend this album to any Coldplay fan that loves the sound of a good, clean, live album. Hope you'll take my advice & enjoy!
fraction of Parachutes
2003-05-20 - I thought this was the best Coldplay cd I could get in terms of sound and price. I don't really know how to review or rate it since my love for Coldplay blossomed a while ago, in 1999, when "Parachutes" came out. In my decision to purchase any Coldplay music, two requirements had to be fulfilled, preferably using the least money possible. 1. The cd had to either have "Shiver," "Don't Panic," or "Trouble," my favorite old Coldplay songs, on it. 2. The cd had to have "Brothers and Sisters" on it. And this was the cd to get. The version of "Shiver" isn't live but acoustic. The version of "Brothers and Sisters" isn't the exact one I was looking for, but it's still good. I think that one is toned down a bit more (acoustic) as well. In short, this single is a little part of "Parachutes", containing some of its best songs and an extra. But if you've never been exposed to Coldplay, go buy "Parachutes" instead and don't bother with singles until you've owned all their albums and major EPs.
Definately the best second Coldplay purchase
2002-03-27 - As with all of the live Coldplay stuff I have heard the renditions of their songs are pretty straightforward; however, as with all live music it has an energy that is only felt when a band is on stage. Chris uses his voice to accent songs bringing the majority of their uniqueness and variation.
Audience participation is sparse, but a fun addition when it can be heard. The recording quality on this recording is B+ for a live rock concert. Could stand to be tightened up a little bit, and I don't think the concert went without a clip or two (Shiver is the least amiable of the tracks.)
In the end this CD is for Coldplay fans, collectors, or people who just buy too many CD's, such as myself. But I promise that you won't be disappointed with the purchase. This is an excellent live performance and is a fun rediscovery of one of our new favorite bands.
The Under Dog of Lost Reviews
2001-11-03 - Any way this artical is about whats going on with the lack of coldplay music. Take my friends brother he hasn't even heard of the band Coldplay.
I'm not the kind of person who just goes on about how great the band is, in fact it's not even my favorite band or song I'm just saying that it's time they were reconized for what they have done with there music. Their music videos are like nothing I've seen for a long time.
so if your not sure if you want to buy this cd go to the music downloads and listen you might be suprized.
Yours Truly,

2001-10-29 - What can I say, I was there! In Norway at the concert, great(!), buy it now! By the way you can hear me whistle in the background:)
