I HAVE TO SAY THIS CD ONE OF THIER BEST. THIS CD ABOUT THE COUNTLESS BATHORY WE WAS BORN 1560 AN DIED AN IN 1610 SHE DIED AT AGE 50 I THINK I COULD BE WRONG BUT THE CD IS STRONG ON THE STORY. DANI SINGING WAS WELL SING. CRADLE OF FILTH HAD 4 GOOD CDS IN MY VIEW I SAY THIS IS THE NUMBER 2 INMY COUNT

Anyway, the beginning of the second song on this album is awesome. The rest suck butt.

By the way, the song Sodomy and Lust is a cover from the band Sodom. (Sodom is much better than Cradle of Filth.)

THE CHILD DEVIANT
2006-12-06 - This is the best album ever recorded by CRADLE OF FILTH. 'Cruelty And The Beast' pays homage to the historical Elizebeth Bathory. The music invokes intense darkness....categoricly speaking, this is Black Metal/Ultra Gothic Vampire music. There isn't a weak song on this CD. This is certainly one of those albums that christians, parents, and the government are protesting against.
