Pity.
It's a must have for Cradle fans and extreme metal fans.
The title track alone is worth the purchase.

2008-04-03 - THOUGH THE CD IS GODD AND MOSTLY OF COVER SONGS.ONLY THE FIRST TWO SONGS WERE WRITTEN BY DANI. TO ME, THE BEST SONG ON THIS EP IS "FROM THE CRADLE TO THE ENSLAVE".THEY COULD'VE ADDED ONE MORE NEWER SONG THAT WAS WRITTEN BY DANI.I ALSO GOT THIS CD BECAUSE I HAD IT BACK IN 200-2002 WHEN I LIVED IN BINGHAMTON,NY
Well here is how I see it. 
2006-08-03 - First off, don't let this review fool you. I've been a cof fan since 1999. I love this band, they got me into Black Metal and pretty much the first stepping stone into extreme metal. However, instead of giving a cliche they sold out htis roadrunner that blah blah blah review. I think i'll put it simply like this.
Back when I was a young kid, i had a group of friends. There weren't many of us, we didn't have huge really big birthday parties or anything. We weren't popular or anything. However, we were young (friends for 5 years, from 8-13) my best friend was named Ben. ben was liked by everybody in our group. However, one day he woke up and started acting like everybody e lse, just like the popular kids. Started betraying who he really was and who he once was. He was now accepted by the masses of kids in middle school and had many new friends. However, we hated him at this point. Cradle of Filth, are sorda like Ben.

2006-07-03 - THIS IS ONE OF MY FIRST CRADLE OF FILTH CDS I LISTENED TO,AND LIKE THE FIRST,IT BLEW ME AWAY! ITS MORE THAN WHAT YOU WOULD EXCPECT DOR A CD WITH ONLY 6 SONGS. SOME SAY "CRADLE TO ENSLAVE" IS THE BEST SONG, BUT I MUST SAY SLEEPLESS AND OF DARK AND f$#KING ARE MUCH BETTER! ALTHOUGH THE CRADLE TO ENSLAVE MUSIC VIDEO IS PERFECT! THIS IS ONE OF C.O.F. BEST EPS! IF YOUR LOOKIN FOR A SHORT YET SATISFYING BLACK METAL CD, I WOULD REALLY RECCOMEND THIS ONE! EVERY TRACK IS GOOD! IT IS MUCH DIFFRENT THEN THE AVERAGE BLACK METAL BAND,I WOULD SAY THEY TOOK BLACK/DEATH METAL TO A WHOLE NEW LEVEL! THE ENDING OF DARK OF..... IS REALLY TRIPPY TOO! SO STOP READING REVIEWS AND BUY THIS EP,NOW!!!

A GREAT FILTHY LITTLE E.P.!! - THIS ALBUM ABSOLUTELY SHREDS!!
2006-01-30 - The ALMIGHTLY FILTH never cease to AMAZE Me!!!!!!!!The Title track alone is reason enough to purchase this CD!!! If you are a fan of this band or are just getting started THIS is an excellent place to start! Dani's vocals are REALLY brutal on this album and the Musicianship on this album is absolutely TOP- NOTCH!! The overall sound quality and production on this CD are CRYSTAL clear!! Excellent MISFITS cover "Death Comes Ripping" (If You like this cover be sure to check out Cradle's SAMHAIN cover of:"HALLOWEEN 2" On the "Underworld 2:Evolution" soundtrack!!Although this may be a short E.P. it is truely Bittersweet to the end!! So check out this album, CRANK it Up REAL LOUD!, and hit the Repeat button!!!Fans of "Cruelty and The Beast" and "Midian" this album makes a perfect musical bridge between the two albums!! New Fans be sure to check out some of Cradle's other great releases:"The Principles Of Evil Made Flesh","Vempire"(E.P.)-TRUELY ONE OF MY FAVORITE CRADLE RELEASES EVER!!,"Dusk and Her Embrace","Cruelty And The Beast"-EPIC CRADLE A MUST HAVE! and "Midian"!!Plus the newest release(as of this date)"Nymphetamine(Special Edition Digi-pak version)" It is absolutely FANTASTIC!!Some major highlights of this E.P include-track #1)"From The Cradle To Enslave",track #3)"Death Comes Ripping"(GREAT MISFITS COVER!!),track #2)"Of Dark Blood And F**king",track #5)"Funeral In Carpathia (Be Quick Or Be Dead version-which is a nice remake from the original version that was released on Cradle's 1997 "Dusk And Her Embrace" album- which is also equally fantastic too!),and track #6)"Dawn Of Eternity(GREAT BONUS TRACK!).Overall this album makes a really nice "filler"-(similar to Cradle's"Bitter Suites To Succubi E.P")for Fans in-between Full-length album releases.
