Editorial Review:
A beautiful 'leather look', silver hot foil stamped digipak collectors edition enhanced CD of the Midian album. The disc features an added bonus track, the crushing cover of the Black Sabbath classic 'For Those Who Have Died' and the promo video of 'Her Ghost In The Fog'. Also included is a 24 page booklet featuring extra artwork by J.K. Potter and current band photo.
Midian Reviews:
10 Stars not 5
2005-02-02 - Cradle of filth at there best with this cd! Couldnt have done it better! Especially the track Saffrons Curse! My god what a track that is. Go buy it now in the the name of Midian.
not the best
2002-05-29 - I love CoF, but this one dissapointed me. It seemed a little too goth, and not metal enough. Don't get me wrong, it is still a good album, just doesn't sound like old Cradle. Also, the track listing on this page IS right, and the other reviewer is wrong in the bonus track's name. If you are a huge Cradle fan, I'd get this cd, but if you are just a mediocre fan, go for the original release of Midian and save yourself some cash.
Go buy
2002-03-07 - This is a great (and I mean that) album. It's a lot diffrent from "The Principle Of Evil Made Flesh" or "Vempire" but still this is surprisingly good though I thought nothing could be better the those two. But their new style is very cool almost better then their old. This is a stunning album and a great thing to buy if you're new to melodic black metal but I have something to correct from the other review: "For those hwo have died" is not a classic by Black Sabbath and is not by Black Sabbath and it does not exist. On this album is a cover of the song "For those who died" by the brilliant late eighties thrashers: Sabbat where Dani sings with ex-Sabbat, ex-Skyclad singer Martin Walkieyer.
