CRADLE OF METAL !!!!!
2009-05-03 - What an incredible concert dvd ! I own near 300 concert dvds and few come close to this one ! Recorded during the last leg of the Euro tour in 2005, in front of a packed house at the last venue in Paris, this sets the standards for every other dvd, and then some. The performance is an incredibly relentless 90', Dani's voice is not in top form but hey, after a whole tour and considering he's not so young anymore...it rocks ! Pic is razor-sharp and camera work and editing are top notch. The sound, if low and in need of a very powerful amp, is mixed impeccably and needs no tonal correction of any sort, with the exception of maybe the cymbals. A superb rhythm section despite the fact that the bass cannot be heard most of the time -a normal ocurrence in this type of music- and guitars are surgically panned across the stereo image, each one blazing from a different speaker.

These guys invented the extreme gothic metal genre which mixes even parts of death- black-gothic to a great effect. This is so much better than their first dvd it has to be watched-heard to be believed. Extras are a bit lacking and the mockumentary may be crass but who cares when there's so much meat on the menu ?

2007-11-17 - I just got this this and it was EXCELLENT. Incldue an hour's worth of backstage tour and studio footage where you can see they enjoy blowing stuff up when they are bored. Even get to see Paul pull of some of his martial arts moves, and see the talked about inncident where James drinks some fox p*ss. Video and sound quality were great, and the concert on the DVD was great as well as the videos. I recommend for any hardcore COF fan!

Good DVD but...
2006-11-23 - I think the DVD is great, a great COF DVD but for some reason I think they edited too much dani's voice and sometimes it seems kind of fake. Mostly is great ;p

About the extras .......... cool stuff, hot chicks and craziness. I didn't like the fact that Bam Ma...(whatever) appears on the DVD because for some reason gives to the COF band a MTV flavor, like too popular and commercial i don't know it's only my opinion...

OK!! it is a good DVD .. if you are a COF fan you'll like it, so buy it!!
