Baby Bink is out on the town for the day, visiting wondrous places and seeing fantastic sights. The only problem is, he is traveling alone! Frantically hunted by his mother and turned into a celebrity by the media, Baby Bink stays one step ahead of a trio of bumbling con artists eager to collect the reward money being offered by his wealthy parents.
Description of Baby's Day Out:
Only a mother or a certified baby-phile could love this John Hughes comedy (he wrote and coproduced it). Aside from that endorsement, the diaper starts to stink. Baby Bink is kidnapped by three inept crooks, but the child escapes from their hideaway, leading to a chase through the city. Bink's journey follows the story line of his favorite bedtime book, Baby's Day Out, and he goes to a zoo, a construction site, and a retirement center. Hughes is following his accountant's favorite bedtime tale, "Let's rewrite Home Alone again," but with very little of the humor or impact of that smash. A number of scenes center on the crushing or incineration of Joe Mantegna's groin, not exactly family-fare yuks. There are some moments of levity with the crooks and a gorilla. --Keith Simanton

2009-12-14 - If you love family movies. You sure will enjoy watching this movie with yourself or with your family. It's hilarious. Three men against a baby which the baby wins of course. It's hilarious, funny and poor guys. You will understand when you watch it.:)

Strictly For Laughs 
2009-07-09 - Credibility-wise, this is one of the most ludicrous movies you'll ever see, but it's fun and I would think almost anyone would enjoy it. It's basically "Home Alone" out on the streets and with a baby instead of a small boy.
A baby goes wandering all over the big city with two kidnappers chasing it. People are everywhere but nobody sees the baby but the bad guys?! Hey, I told you it made no sense, but there are so many laughs in here, so many goofy slapstick routines that work that it's worth your time to check it out. I've seen it a couple of times and throughly enjoyed it each time, as have my guests - from kids to older folks.
Another Childhood Favorite!!!
2008-11-22 - Ever since I was a kid, I've loved this movie. Now that I'm older, I still do. I recently watched it because I haven't watched it in a long time. A rich family wants their baby named Bink in the paper. Some thieves steal Bink and hold him for ransom. At their hideout, Bink escapes and throughout the movie, the bad guys chase him all over town trying to find him. The family receive help from the F.B.I. and try to find Bink. Baby's Day Out is actually a book that Bink reads, and he visits all the places that is in the book. Bink is extremely smart and cute. It's awesome that a baby can cause so much trouble for three bad guys. If you love comedy and babies, you'll love BABY'S DAY OUT!!!
if you need a laugh...
2008-09-17 - First - the scene in the park is one of the funniest extended slapstick segments ever commited to film. Next - repeated viewings allow you to pick up on the dialogue - there's tons of funny throwaway lines scattered throughout the movie. Is it great art? No. Is it something that will lift your spirits and leave you happier than when it started? Yes. Basically, it's worth it to spend $10, fast forward to about 55 minutes into it, watch the scene in the park a few times and then put it away again until you have some friends or family over. Guys will definitely have a more over the top reaction than most women or kids, but in general it's good family fare if your kids are 10 or older.
