Editorial Review:
Boardwalk Poets is the story of Russo (Daniel Baldwin), an old school hood exiled from New York to watch over business on the bizarre landscape of the Venice CA boardwalk. Russo has one chance to make something good of his life, and that is to help his protégé Joseph (James Oliver) and his girlfriend Bleu (Bree Michael Warner) go straight and get out of the vagrant life they live. He has one chance for redemption, but has to make the ultimate sacrifice in doing so. Boardwalk Poets is about life, love, and the choices made that can result in a good life, or a tragic death.
Boardwalk Poets Reviews:
baldwin great
2007-09-27 - Just saw Boardwalk Poets, great acting by Dan Baldwin, He did an excellent job and the supporting players were good also. Liked the way the movie was filmed. Interesting shots and very different. I really enjoyed this. I don't know who the director but I am sure we will be hearing from him again.
a MUST see!
2007-08-22 - I absolutely loved this movie! I love that it takes place right on the Boardwalk of Venice Beach, which makes the story that much more realistic. Between the gritty nature of the film, Russo's struggles, and the young love between Joseph and Blue you will find yourself drawn into an absolutely great drama/love story. It's definately a MUST see!
