Perfection Reviews:
The Title Says It All!
2006-12-26 - Even year after its Australian and UK debut (as well as remarkable chart success), this track STILL burns HOT!!! Yes, Kylie's sister has shown, yet again, why she is the successor to Kylie as the next Queen Of The Music World!!!
Just as her previous mastepieces "Don't Wanna Lose This Feeling" and "Don't Wanna Lose This Groove" have reached club anthem status, this one joins the ranks. Why? With the brilliance of mixing the immortal Vickie Sue Robinson dance anthem, "Turn The Beat Around" and the genius production stylings of mixmasters such as Koishii and Hush as well as Bobby Blanco (to name a few), "Perfection" lives up to its name.
Giving Vickie Sue Robinson's memorable classic the Minogue flair and vocal verve are just what this song needs to elevate it to a stellar sound, style, spunk and syncopation.
If anyone could have produced the same bite and punch as Laura Branigan delivered with her cover "Turn The Beat Around," Dannii has not only matched Laura's dynamic impact and verve but, Dannii has catapulted this track to even higher plateaus. Laura would have been proud!! I know I am.
Once again, Dannii--!!!!Nicely Done!!!!

Perfect enough for me
2005-11-10 - I love this new hit single from Dannii's upcoming CD. It's not quite as strong as say, "Put the Needle On It", but it is hot! "Perfection" is a song that would blow up successfully worldwide (stateside too) if given the chance. It slightly samples the late Vicki Sue Robinson's vintage cut, "Turn The Beat Around." Dannii sound pleasant and the songs lyrics are a little repetative, something that would insure commerical hit status! The remixes are quite good, not mindblowing, but far from disappointing. If you love Pop music at all, go get "Perfection" now!
It's Perfection!
2005-10-25 - I am a major Dannii fan and I have been eagarly awaiting a new song from her for almost a year. I was not dissapointed when Perfection finally came out. The song is fantastic and you can't help but feel good when you listen to it. The B-side on this cd is called "I've been waiting for you". I also love this song! It continues Dannii's 80's dance music style and it makes you just want to get up and dance. I can't wait until her new full length album to come out next year. Dannii Minogueand her song are Perfection!
Not so perfect
2005-10-19 - OK lets be honest here. The first time I listened to this song on Dannii's website, I thought... she's a bloody queen of recycling. I didn't like it all. The instrumental is not originally produced and the lyrics are in a total mess. It didn't blend nicely. Thank goodness for being able to download it from the net before it got released. I forcefully listened to it quite often and eventually this song grew in me. I'm glad the Perfection(Dancing DJ's Remix) version reinvented the original version of the song and gave it a more unique feel. The original version especially Bobby Blanco & Miki Moto Remix heavily used the instrumental sample that made it sound like a "cut and paste" production. I believe Dannii is creative and she can do better tracks than this. She just have to pick the right DJ collaborators. I would suggest she should try Wayne G. or Full Intention. In summary the Dancing DJ's Remix really saved this song.
