This sitcom followed the life of a group of cabbies in New York. The group, employees of the Sunshine Cab Company, was made up a motley crew including Bobby (Jeff Conaway), a frustrated actor, Tony (Tony Danza), a struggling boxer, Louie (Danny DeVito), the tyranical dispatcher, and Reverend Jim (Christopher Lloyd), a spacey ex-hippie. The classic ensemble sitcom was hailed by critics and audiences alike after premiering on ABC Sept. 12, 1978. It's a vehicle with heart, as well as humor, and won three straight Emmys as Outstanding Comedy Series.

2009-03-25 - I want seasons 4 & 5!!!!!! I really think we've waited too long on the remaining two seasons, its ridicules!!! I think others would agree with me.

how do you expect people to purchase Taxi DVDs when they can't be sure of ever completing their collections? It's going on 4 years now since seasons 1-3 have been released in 2005. What happened to seasons 4 and 5? Did you kill the project?
Taxi is a great show, I remember enjoying it as a kid and still love it today. Please, think of the fans. Don't leave us with an incomplete show!

2008-07-28 - I always have loved the show Taxi. Loui De Palmer and the rest of the crew have made me laugh for many years so when I saw this box set I couldn't resist and I'm glad I didn't. The show is just as funny as I remebered. Now I don't have to wait till it comes on Tv Land it is here in my library for many more years of laughter whenever I need a laugh. If you are a fan of Taxi then this is definitely worth the money.

2008-02-28 - Taking our time, haven't watched many of the shows yet, will do so over time, just happy to have all three seasons.

2007-10-25 - I am so excited by my purchase. It didn't take long to arrive, and I've been enjoying it ever since. Well worth every cent. Amazon are great.
