Labyrinth: From The Original Soundtrack Of The Jim Henson Film Reviews:
Labyrinth Sountrack
2009-11-03 - Loved the movie as a kid. My kids love the songs and are original songs from the movie.
Happily Bowie
2009-09-12 - If you loved the songs in the movie (who doesn't and what do you have against Bowie?), you'll love the soundtrack. All the songs are there, including instrumental pieces that are, if you like soundtrack scores like Pirates of the Caribbean or Star Wars, a great addition to the collection. Everything on the soundtrack is of course a little 80s but that's why we love 80s movies right? Or that could be me.
Really, all you need to know is that it's David Bowie. Singing love songs (And "Dance (Baby) Dance" which is a typically strange Bowie song anyway. "You mind me of the babe," "What babe?" "the babe with the power" "ect." will be stuck in your head weeks at a time). His voice is amazing, he's not too tripy and come on, you loved the movie why NOT get the soundtrack? There's nothing wrong with wanting to support the filmmakers we all love, even (or especially) if they haven't made one in a while.
Yep. So buy it if you like the movie or just David Bowie. Because everyone should already know that a little Bowie makes everything better (and Trevor Jones is an awesome composer).
One of my favorite films and one of the few soundtracks I've bought
2009-09-11 - Love both the film and the soundtrack. You have a dozen songs equally divided between David Bowie and Trevor Jones. Bowie's voicing Jareth is the lodestone of his work--he's the perfect goblin king. Trevor Jones's instrumentals also have an electric eerie sound that's still viable today. The sound quality is great on the recording and the music is enjoyable outside of the film. You could use this CD to audition speakers--particularly the instrumentals like "Into the Labyrinth."

top quality
2009-05-24 - I received this CD in a very timely manner. It was in perfect condition and I am getting great enjoyment out of it. Thank you for being a quality seller!
It's David Bowie Of Course It's Gonna Be Good
2008-10-20 - I highly, highly, highly recommend this cd/ soundtrack. It is one of the best I've ever heard. Being a David Bowie fan and having seen the movie, I loved his songs and bought it just for that, but the sound effects and all of the other tracks are as mystical as the movie. So if you want a good, enthralling listen, this is the cd for you. Without a doubt.
