Editorial Review:
The last album of original music released under the Partridge Family brand by Bell Records and, as of this writing, the only one that has never been reissued on CD or any other format other than LP and analog tape - 8 Track to be specific. This album also features some future legends of music before they were legends. They appear here as common, ordinary L.A. studio musicians. Song List: 1) Roller Coaster; 2) Lookin' For A Good Time; 3) How Long Is Too Long; 4) That's The Way It Is With You; 5) Where Do We Go From Here; 6) I Heard You Singing Your Song; 7) Money, Money; 8) Alone Too Long; 9) I'll Never Get Over You; 10) I Wouldn't Put Nothin' Over On You; 11) Oh, No, Not My Baby.

Bulletin Board Reviews:
The Parridge Family Bulletin Board 5 Star Review
2007-09-29 - I agree with the others this was one of my favorite albums as well.
It definately shows how the music evolved over the years.
I still own all of my vinyl and have been replacing with CD'as they've become available. The fans have been patiently waiting. Please Arista Records release the final album in The Partridge Family Collection. I'll bet you'd be surprised by the result.

I love this album! 5 Star Review
2007-09-26 - If Arista is reading, please release this final album by the Partridge Family on CD. The fans will buy it up and we will all have our collections complete. My favorite song is "I'll Never Get Over You" by Tony Romeo, as well as "I Heard You Singing Your Song". The harmonies are great on this selection. Until it is released I'll continue to listen to my vinyl copy and copy I transferred to CD.

The Partridge's best record 5 Star Review
2007-04-07 - 1. Money Money (Farrell-Janssen-Hart)
2. Roller Coaster (James)
3. Lookin' For A Good Time (Farrell-Janssen-Hart)
4. Oh, No, Not My Baby (Goffin-King)
5. I Wouldn't Put Nothin' Over On You (Farrell-Janssen-Hart)
6. Where Do We Go From Here (James)
7. How Long Is Too Long (Bahler-Asher)
8. I'll Never Get Over You (Romeo)
9. Alone Too Long (James-Weil)
10. I Heard You Singing Your Song (Mann)
11. That's The Way It Is With You (Schoch)

Terrific final bow from The Partridge Family, with the spiky "Money Money" leading the record off in high style (featured in a last-season episode wherein a disgruntled Laurie labeled this tune "a typical Keith Partridge lyric!"). The brash, catchy "Lookin' For a Good Time" turned out to be the last single released from the group, and both the song and the album stiffed (cynical America had tired of the TV show, but the music is still viable). If anything negative can be said, it's that the songs are all curiously short (most are three minutes in length or just under, with the exception of "How Long Is Too Long" which clocks in at 3:41). The production isn't edgy, and the selections are ballad-heavy, yet it shows that David Cassidy was still as viable a pop-star as ever, and he effortlessly croons his way through the "I Am a Clown" sound-alike "Alone Too Long", gets down on the funky "Roller Coaster", and takes "How Long Is Too Long" to great heights (this would've made the perfect sunny-'70's AM radio single). The best songs here, "I'll Never Get Over You" and "That's The Way It Is With You", are sentimental without being sappy, locking right into those Tiger Beat feelings we all had at one time. Shamefully, the album is not available on CD (and is scarce and expensive on vinyl), but fans could do no worse than to pick this one up if they can. Far more streamlined and cohesive as an album per se than "Notebook" or "Crossword Puzzle", it showcases a singer still at the top of his game.

Before the Bus Ran out of Gas 5 Star Review
2007-02-13 - This has been my most favorite Partridge Family LP next to their debut "ALBUM". It took a new and departed musical direction under the guidance of Wes Farrell.I can't understand how and why not a single from this LP ever cracked the TOP 40. "Rollercoaster","Looking For A Good Time",and a few others would have made great hits. Now if someone at ARISTA would wake up and release this long awaited LP on to cd,it would complete any Partridge Family fan's collection.

Brilliant! 5 Star Review
2006-12-13 - This is arguably the best effort of the Partridge Family. Fun and fantastic with songs atypical of their earlier more choiresque fare. Most of the songs here were used in later years of the show, and would be familiar to those who cherish the program. It's a tragedy that this has gone on for so long without a CD issue. This music is just as crisp and bright as it was when recorded. And the stellar cast of musicians including Cassidy and Jones at the vocals proves this is timeless, priceless quality music.
