2009-05-23 - For years the music industry has been shamelessly promoting semi-talented artists (such as U2 and Bruce Springsteen) in an effort to inexplicably hold back once-in-a-century phenomena like David Hasselhoff. Not any more!
This album is the penultimate of trans-genre hits: ranging from YANNI's yawns to ANTHRAX headbangings, David's music will touch you no matter how you keep your hair and what color clothes you favor.
Moreover, clinical studies have shown that students who were listening to Hassy's tunes while doing math scored significantly higher than Hassy-free controls. Are you to deny your children the extra advantage?
A true classic for all ages!

2009-05-16 - 5 days ago I listened to this CD for the first time and I've been in euphoria since. After finding out that he died I went to the local elementary school, acquired a small boy, and sacrificed him to hades in hopes of bringing him back to make another CD. My neighbor doesn't like Hasselhoff though and she called the police, I got arrested and my dog died after drinking the pool water since I couldn't clean it. David Hasselshlop saved my soul however.
Hot Shot City is particularly good.
Hasselhoff is Always the Very Best!
2009-04-28 - I had not listened to any of David Hasselhoff's European recordings prior to purchasing this album. There is a distinct difference between American and European pop music, but I did enjoy many of these songs.
Jock White's compositions and Mr. Hasselhoff's vocals were a perfect combination. After hearing this best of the best collection, it's easy to understand why his concerts in Germany and elsewhere in Europe grew in popularity and his recordings went Gold and Platinum.
Too many individuals in America have sneered at his singing career in Europe for far too long. This album does much to banish such criticism.
Have CD, now ... Hasselhoff ROCKS, that's it in a nutshell
2009-02-25 - I've heard substantive clips of all the songs, on the internet, and was admittedly (like several reviewers obviously) surprised it wasn't terribly awful. In fact, it wasn't awful at all {except in places}. In fact it was entertaining. In fact, though the Germans are cheesy in the music they like (LA Guns toured there a year or so ago), who believed the guy could sing? Well believe it! Goodnight Don Johnson and/or Eddie Murphy, THIS is the emotive music CD I've been missing, and didn't even know it. So I've heard the music and CAN'T WAIT to have it in CD form, to play it in my car, on the way to my weekly urinalysis ... And flip to different tunes, like "Hot Shot City", which is a song widely conveyed to be particularly good; so the Very Best Of album MUST be decent, at the very least. Here's to an underrated musical talent, and here's to saying 'My old impression was wrong'. After I have it and have given it some spins, I'm sure I will be putting in an edit, categorically confirming what I've submitted above. [Edited portion] CD came and it sounds great. Chillin' out sipping some Californian Beaujolais, David Hasselhoff's booming tones filled the den. Some of the mellower songs, like "Yesterday's Love", deliver varied emotion, but 'It's 11:00 and we're ready to rock' ... let's you know the rock anthem of the Northern hemisphere is upon you: "Hot Shot City". With the audio image of that chick in a red Ferrari burned into my retina .. and then comes a chorus (which many find particularly good), letting you know all the fist-pumping splendor that music could be, should have always been ... and could be. Pick up this compilation of literally ageless music, you'll be amazed.
