Description of Charlie's Angels - Full Throttle (Widescreen Unrated Special Edition):
Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle is a big, fun, bubble-brained mess of a movie, and that's exactly as it should be. Its popular 2000 predecessor got the formula right: gorgeous babes, throwaway plots, and as many current pop-cultural trends as you could stuff into a candy-coated dollop of Hollywood mayhem. This sequel goes one "better": The plot's even more disposable (if that's possible), the babes, cars, and fashions even more outlandish, and the stuntwork (heavily digital, heavily absurd) reaches astonishing heights of cartoon silliness. Reprising their titular (and shamelessly titillating) roles, Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, and Lucy Liu are having the time of their lives, especially when sparring with ultra-buff rogue angel Demi Moore (looking better at 40 than most women half her age) and Justin Theroux as a sleazy Irish mobster. Bernie Mac replaces Bill Murray as angel-sidekick Bosley (they're step-brothers, don'cha know), which is one more indication of McG's intentionally reckless stewardship of an intentionally reckless franchise. Our advice: sit back, relax, and get jiggly with it. --Jeff Shannon

    Broken License 1 Star Review
2009-08-05 - Amazon will deceive you with this Video on Demand version of "Charlie's Angels Full Throttle." I bought the video and downloaded it along with many other films (including the original C.A.). There is something wrong with the license of this video. I have tried to download and view this video on three machines and the license cannot be accessed. Every other film I bought works fine. I followed Amazon's technical support suggestions on getting the problem fixed, but it's not my systems it's the license and Amazon refuses to acknowledge it. Also, there is no refund on any of these products.

Buy the DVD but DO NOT buy this on video on demand. Lucy Liu is the best but Amazon stole my money on this one.

What's better than... 5 Star Review
2009-05-21 - three hot women who kick butt for and hour or so. The plot isn't great but it doesn't have to be. Demi Moore looks awesome in this!

The Angels Come Up Short on this misson 2 Star Review
2008-12-27 - Okay. This is not a horrible movie. But it is nothing like the first one. If you are looking for this movie to be as good or better than the first, it's not going to happen.

There is about as much action in this one as the first, maybe even more. But there really is no story line going on. They had good intentions, but it doesn't really go anywhere. It's supposed to be a continuation from the first and in certain parts you get maybe a little hint here and there, but mostly you find you have to remind yourself what is going on. They actually repeated a lot of scenes from the first one but did so in a different light, angle, degree, concept.

This move is just okay. I recommend renting or borrowing, but not buying this. No where near as good as the first.
